Omg that's so funny, I literally had a part in the video that I cut out where I said "now if you think you've got it from here, just wait.." cuz of those decreases right? 😂 I cut it out cuz I thought it was too sassy 🤣🤣 apparently I was thinking of you!
@@TheSnugglery omg yes 😅 Also! I was wondering, if I credit you as the creator of the pattern, is it alright if I sell what I make? I do want to add my own twist to the pattern, but I'd still credit you! If it's not ok with you tho I completely understand, it's just such a cool project 🙂
Love this pattern so much!! 💕 I’m currently in the process of making one. Except I’m using a medium weight yarn with a 5mm hook and I’ve measured it to 22 rows (I’m a size medium). I hope that helps anyone making this sweater with medium weight yarn 😊
I have so many crochet projects planned and I know I’m never going to finish them all, but I will prioritize this one. I love it, and you made it seem so easy to make larger sizes.
The nicest part of this pattern is it simp;icity to make and looks fantastic. I made one several months ago out of finer yarn, but I made it too big for me, so I gave it too a friend and she loves it.-- advantages of this pattern (1)make more or less rows to adjust to almost any size (toddler to large adult) (2)any color yarn plain, varigated, or several colors for stripes. (3)Any type yarn wool, various acrylics, chenilles probably even home spun. (4)Also you don't have to keep looking at the pattern for every row. By the time you've made 1 or 2 you'll have the pattern memorized and can work on it any where.
Omg I love this! I was just looking at super jumbo yarn that I wanted!! And now I have a project for it. What’s crazy is I have never seen your video but I changed it to Upload and I’m so happy 😁
Hi! It’s wonderful!! I love it so much!! 😍 if I work it with a different yarn .. can I ask you how much is one side of the hexagon? thank you very much and good continuation!
I made this with a thinner chunky yarn, and I am so happy with it! I had to do 9 rows instead of 8 to give it more length, and now that I'm finished I wish I did 10 or 11 to make it even larger. But thank you so much I love the way it came out and the vibes it has!!
Do we think it would be easy to add ribbed cuffs to the bottom of the sleeves? I feel like if I did that all my cozy spooky dreams will come true but I don’t know if I’m in beginners delusion
Thanks so much for the pattern!! I used a similar chunky yarn and instead of using a 15mm hook I decided to use my fingers and it worked perfectly! Once again tysm I love the final result!!
I'm currently making this cardigan! I saw your video and the Instagram post on it and was like "I need to make this" lol. I didn't know how many yarn skeins to get so I got 2 of each color hopefully it's enough to make both sides. But I love the Ice Yarn tho, it's really soft. Thank you for this lovely cardigan pattern. I'm not done yet but it's super cute!!
I have a question when you kept turning your work every time and kept going in the rounds do you do that even after your decreases like do you keep turning your work or you just continue going around and around and around?
@@jessigrissom33 I add like to make this with two strands of worsted weight yarn. I’ll have to figure out how to go about it.😹 how did yours turn out?🙂
I love your hexagon cardigan by the Snuglery, looks super comfy and warm for the winter time 🌬️🌧️❄️ thanks for sharing your tutorial on how to make this beautiful hexagon cardigan, I've never made one before but I would love to learn how to make one, love love the colors you used, I'll have to keep this pattern on my crochet projects list, I'm definitely going to try to make a hexagon cardigan maybe with or without the decreases
💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 I LOVE THIS....YOU REALLY PUT YOUR HANDS ON THIS. You know I did one but I did not really like it afterwards because of the sleeves and the size. Now that I know....I'm going to try yours LOVE IT.💕💕💕💕💕💕
@@knotsnchains6907 since this is two crocheted hexagons it would be two knitting hexagons too. I think I saw a baby knitted version that some did and posted on pinterest.
If I don't have a toddler invasion, is that okay? Absolutely LOVED this chunky cardigan! I have yet to use chunky yarn, but this will be my first project once I do!
Using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick and the cardigan turned out with shorter sleeves and shorter length than urs. Would adding another 1 or 2 rounds on each half work to make it longer and have longer sleeves?
It's an interesting technique sure but I still find simply doing back panel then splitting it into right front, left front panels and neck gap. Then just connecting them and adding sleeves in the openings to be more convenient. You got more flexibility when adjusting arm width overall length etc. Then again, I mostly use single color yarn. This might work for the multicolors if you're going for that continuous effect.
Yes, but your sleeves will get longer as well. You could also add rows of double crochet to the bottom of the cardigan after you seam the two hexagons together
Would I be able to do this same sweater using a K size hook instead? That's the largest I have available at the moment, but I do have size 6 yarn. How would I have to adjust the pattern to make it work with the size hook I have?
I'm on row 6. The decrease side seems to be getting smaller and smaller so that it will not fit round my wrist. Have I gone wrong? No way will 8 rows make one half. I think I will need 16! Have a gone totally wrong? Thanks for any help.
It's beautiful I've tried a few times I'm all fingers and keep picking up wrong stitches 😍 everyone has all my little drinks coasters I canni seem to make 2 identical 🕊️🤍
Hey love this, I'm currently on round 4 and using chunky yarn a size 7 hook, but 8 rounds will not be big enough, do I just keep adding rounds in the same way as 3-8
Kindly help me get over the dilemma of end of row 2. After 3 decreases into one, what happens to the two chains of the previous row before starting a new corner of row 3? Thanks for your help. Love the pattern.
I made one with Caron Latte Cakes which is bulky yarn and not super chunky, the only thing I changed was I used more yarn for each hexagon and a 6.5m hook, I love this pattern so much
Can someone please give me a link on how to do this ruffly hexagon but without doing the 'turning' pattern? I just want to make it look nicer and I tried it myself but it didn't work😭 Other than that, really beautiful pattern ❤️
Is there a gauge for this pattern/yarn? I have some lion brand hometown yarn i want to use that is classified as a weight 6 but it is a very different weight 6 and i just dont want to get too far into the project then realize i need to adjust or start over. LOVE this pattern 😁
Does the pattern call for size 6 or 7 weight yarn? Because I think one is a 6 and one is a 7 so I’m wondering if I need a smaller hook for size 6 yarn.
Which side do you do the decrease on? Its a little bit hard to tell in the video if you did it on the 3rd or 4th side of the hexagon. (this is for the first real row)
I am trying to make this cardigan. Can you tell me. how many stitches are you increasing each row from round 3? I would appreciate your help please. Thank you. I
I can't believe I finally have found a sweater, any type sweater for the yarn I just bought - Sirdar Mystical in Fairy Dust. I hope the color changes won't take away from how pretty your pattern is. Do you have a pattern for this. I'm an advanced beginner and it would help to have that besides the video. The video however is the best part and most helpful :) Thanks!
In round 3 does the link of 3 become five in a row , I wish you would show some examples of completed rounds . I watched some other hexagon videos that look different
Is there every a point that you stop decreasing to even out the flow of shaping in the sleeve? For example maybe crochet 2 rows without decreasing and maybe keep that pattern of 2 rows no decrease, next 2 rows decrease, depending on the sleeve length.
Good question! If you work it in the round, the front and back of your work will look slightly different. Both sides will look fine but since the two hexagon halves are mirror images of each other, one hexagon will have the front side facing out and one will have the back facing out. Turning your work each row makes two more identical pieces, each with alternating rows
Both affiliate links are not active anymore; could you suggest a product that would be the most suitable to the project today? What material should the yarn contain?
