Hello folks, my unit arrived yesterday on 5/7 Sat. and I happy with it. I really only cared for everything under PS1. changed out the gate, the tension spring, turned off opening video, and check boxed a few more categories in Game Collection Settings/Automatic Collection, and couple of other video tweaks. I'm more that good with for what it is. I ordered mine from the Kinhank store, Amazon wants about $60 more. anybody can wait for 3 and half weeks.
i’m thinking of ordering on ali express did the dreamcast play ok ? i want to play ready 2 rumble and a few other games especially arcade classics did they run well thanks !
I had all the same errors on my Rg351v and replaced the SD card with sans and flashed it with emulec pineapple forest fixed everything except PPSSPP mapping was all stupid 😂 other than that it really helped got my info from retrogame corps as you suggested thanks 🤘🤓 Nerdcore Hardcore
Looks like they took an 8bitdo, fiddled with the makeup on the upper left and tossed on a set of heels to give enough clearance to add the SCX type board. Seems like an okay little device depending on price point, but at least they kept the very usable quality stick and buttons. Also easily upgradable to a better stick and buttons, but maybe not worth it with the slightly asthmatic chip inside it.
Gotta love when someone takes a Nintendo Switch arcade stick & adds internals to it. Thought about doing this myself & either adding a Pi 3/4 or the chipset out of a android TV box (S905)
With an S905X3 it might be a worthwhile investment but the S905, whilst better than most crap that is inside many of these Chinese boxes is still quite old. Then we have the mass Piracy with the sheer number of games included. I wonder if the EMUElec developer is aware of this because they may get inundated with support for something that they may not have had any input into this venture.
The emuelect developers created the OS to support a lot of chipsets, so all these variations either they work or don't. Any issues encountered can report to their website or github page.
I'd like to get something like this, but I want quality. I've had a number of plug n' play systems that have problems. Sometimes the controller membranes are brittle and the buttons stick. I also have an Atari flashback that stopped working after 18 months. My Playstation Classic doesn't read the SD card anymore.
If you could put your own image on this It might be interesting, otherwise it’s the crap image with bad configurations and multiple language descriptions. 🤦♂️ If possible someone should definitely do a how to guide for this particular stick!🤞
Its really sad that the device is not powerful enough since it looks really cool, if it could run up to Dreamcast with out hic ups it would be definitely be well worth it, but the price doesn't seems that bad considering you get an arcade stick with an emulation station that can handle up to old arcade games, really a shame it cant handle atomis or naomi games tough I would definitely consider buying somethin like that if it could.
kinhank is a garbage company imo. I bought their $130 cm3 retro handheld and it broke after a couple of months of moderate gameplay. I sent it back. Never got the item back nor a return. They also blocked me on ali express when I asked about it. I stopped buying on ali because of them.
@@WickedGamerCollector I was just looking for anything in a "date" format be it "mm/dd/yyyy" or "mm-dd-yyyy" So I was looking for slashes or dashes. BUT I think my assumption is right. As you said the chip's from 2018 and older versions used the cheaper GREEN PCB color. SO... early 2020 doesn't seem too far off.
Like other Chinese products, the first version of a new product is crap. We can see a good build quality, decent hardware but lacking on the software part... Maybe the next gen will have better software. Great video Wicked ! :)
A knock off 8bitdo stick with an outdated emulator pcb and chipset inside. If it's cheap and the pcb can be upgraded them maybe it's worth looking at...
Very nice arcade console with descent price but like most consoles it has joystick at left and buttons at right which is for left hand people. Why on earth they do not have joystick at the right side and buftons at the left. It is crazy.!!!!!!
I'm right handed, but never had a problem using my left hand for the joystick. Feels ironically natural! I could never play using my right hand on the joystick.
That's not how it works. Right hand is on buttons because of the speed required for button presses. Left hand works the stick as it's less erratic & more precision-based. The setup you described would be for southpaws.... you sure you're right hand-dominant?
I’m right handed but always used to use my right hand to control the stick on arcade games that had buttons on both sides, which was quite common in the early to mid 80s. I would cross my arms over if not. I’ve always being right handed that my right hand has more precision than my left so I’ve also never understood why buttons are predominantly on the right hand side.
If you have the knowhow, just Crack open the case, pull the stick out, rotate it 180°, put it back in, rewire the buttons so that the attacks line up correctly, and play with the stick upside down. Congrats, you made a Southpaw stick for free!
Kinhank stuff doesn't impress me to be honest. Too many games you can't play - always receiving that error screen. Matter of fact that got so bad to the point it's driven me away from gaming. Hopefully I'll snap out of it. His prices are ridiculous
Aaaagh! Why are Kinhank continuing to fail? It would have been so easy to upgrade Emuelec and give everyone a better experience with a better chip. Oh, and a fan. They could charge double if they used just slightly better parts and a branded (real) SD card. *sigh*.
