If you do the first gold hoarder x marks the spot mission, it brings you to a small island with only 2 chests to make for a quick mission complete without dealing with the big Island that the SKOD gives
Also if you see emissary near Crescent Isle it may be good idea to check Rapier Cay. I love the idea of Reapers being the police of SoT, there should be additional rep for selling stolen loot.
Only sunk 1 person doing the exploit but I've joined multiple open crews doing it and made sure to finish their fort for them and help them load all that duplicated treasure into the water (:
I spent a long time grinding vault keys quests and got like 6 for fetcher's rest (and 2 for devil's ridge, bless rng for the 6 lol) and put them all into chests and sold the other items and keys I found along the way so I can just go spam the same vault at grade 5 for fun and when I had like 2 or 3 vaults left, I get destroyed by a grade 5 reaper galleon who is like "stop exploiting" and I'm just thinking "hoarding keys after doing the quests over and over for the big funny is not exploiting" but you just keep thinking that bud. At least I sold every sellable item I came across in between so I wasn't at a complete loss for my run
This is a feature until they patch it, so you can't blame people for doing it. If you can do something in game, it's called a feature. It's like the sword lunge jump, nobody ever calls it an exploit, but the Devs probably didn't intend for it to exist
@@Rocketman.27 Except the sword lunge doesn’t result in community days being ruined. The sword lunge doesn’t remove the entire point of the game and result in people completing content too quickly. The sword lunge doesn’t lag the servers and crash games. The sword lunge is also publicly approved by the devs, while they’ve publicly stated they don’t approve of this. Even going so far as to edit the value of loot items to stop scumming like this happening on community day. People had an argument when it came to quick swapping. You’ve got no argument with this. If you want to farm loot infinitely with no threat to yourself, go play safer seas.
@@alexanderharris5022 People playing how they want to and getting loot shouldn't ruin you community day, unless you're a sensitive child who can't cope with the fact that people are getting more money than them. Similar for the progression, other people getting levels fast has no effect on you, unless you entire ego is based on your level in a fucking pirate game.
@@Rocketman.27 Ruins the day when Devs make Athena loot 92% less valuable because too many players are farming an exploit. It ruins the day when people are hiding away in the corners of the map generating obscene amounts of lag because of this exploit. It ruins the day when instead of the community being brought together, selfish turnips, such as yourself, are screaming that they feel hard done by because they got caught cheating and Rare punished everyone en-masse because of it. I’m the first to admit I’m egotistical. I’m not the one contributing to a problem in the game and stupid enough to try and say it’s fine.
@@alexanderharris5022 Rare's fault for punishing everyone en masse, as opposed to going to the root of the problem, so take it up with them. Also don't see how it stops the community from being united when I'm sat in the corner of the map. Also, if causing lag is a problem for you, I assume you absolutely hate FotD stackers, or any type of world event stacker
I tried out the sea fort exploit when I heard about it. Is it efficient? Sure, but it's boring as heck. I'd rather get to conquer the sea fort over and over again, they're fun and easy. Can't wait for Rare to patch this exploit and then watch the forums blow up about them lowering the skill gap again, seems to happen every time a game-breaking exploit is patched.
It is a shame to see people not experiencing the seas to its full potential, I couldn’t imagine sitting at one fort for hours on end constantly dying or respawning, sounds very dull!
@@TheOGinger It's dull as all get out. But meta-slaves aren't known for their commitment to having fun, they prefer making numbers more numbery instead of actually engaging with what makes each game unique.
@@amethyst_dawn my favourite part is that when I find them on the seas they have no actual game skill! I came across a player with 475days playtime and he was worse than a swabbie, also they become very toxic and hostile in chat very quickly haha
@@TheOGinger I'm guessing colorful gamer words and phrases directed towards your mother? PvP or PvE, one thing exploiters have in common is that baby gets very angy when you take away their toys.
I never have the emissary up when exploiting... all the viable sea forts are quite close to outposts and just loading the loot to ship nets you a level 5 flag... sou you would have to come and check at the spot, while I always make sure to park at the map border hidden by the fort...
Imagine doing all that just to exploit the game ! At one point is any of that fun, also be careful as rare can track who’s doing it through commendations and gold etc
@@TheOGinger we find our fun in doing that... finding holes in the code and stuff... you should have seen what we were able to do in GTA V :D ...also we are doing it for the one times number... like we try the exploit always for exactly an hour... we try to optimize it to the best and then we dont care for it... so yeah, some gold and stuff is definitely "wrong" in my acc, but nothing too crazy...
Funny cause the people that do the seaforts are actually making alot don't have em up until they collect and sell and that process is 10mins 😂 (the people that know know what they're doing.) But rip the people doing vaults cause they most likely will. Fun video nevertheless and good luck with hunting. 👊🔥

Dont!! I repeat dont do this! I got yellowbearded for exactly that. I sunk an athena 5 that stacked like 4 hours and got banned for exploiting lol. I think rare is counting the items selled and at a certain amount they will yellowbeard exploiters and also the Crew that just sunk them and sell their loot
Reapers are trash i use to do 15 vault keys at a time but with reapers and the exploding island i do a quick 6 vault stack and leave, more loot than you regulars make all year muahhaha muahhhaha
