Glad to here that..actually, best for Tropical and Sub-tropical climate. It defoliates with the slightest frost but plant can survive in extreme cold weather. I believe, you should get this over there...thank you!

. Sir I'm from Delhi I want to ask, I have repotted my triangularis ficus plant on 2nd nov. and now it's devastating to see that it dropped all leaves and it's branches are also drying what should I do to save it can I apply some fungicide to protect it from fungus attack. If possible please reply 🙏 as I need your experience and knowledge.
@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat Год назад
Look like it's repotting shock..happens sometimes. Nothing to worry much..Ficus plants are usually hardy. You have done good thing applying fungicide. Now, please keep the plant in shade and avoid watering regularly. Water only when top soil looks dry. After some days, you can loosen the soil a bit (only surrounding soil). Wish you all the best and Sir is not required actually!

Yea, sure! In fact, they can be also grown from soft-wood cutting. Bit difficult to root them though..

I got couple of cuttings, and one of them grew leafs in indirect sunlight. Then i transfered that to a pot with garden soil and a bit of compost. The cutting dried out. 😢. Another cutting is now ready with leafs and roots, should i put in pot with sand? Thanks
@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat 4 месяца назад
Sorry for the late reply. No, you can use normal garden soil and compost. We need to be careful while transplanting and just after doing it, keep the cutting only in shade. Water less and do only when top soil is dry. Once you see some new growth, you can move the cutting to the sunlight. Hope that helps, thank you!

My rangoon creeper plant is almost 1.5 years old and has not started to bloom yet. I tried both organic and chemical fertilizers. When can I expect first blooms? Please help.
@GardeningUpbeat
@GardeningUpbeat Год назад
Some variety needs to be matured before they bloom well. But still, 1.5 years looks more than enough and it should bloom. Please fertilize at the end of Feb next year and it should bloom. Also, try to increase the sunlight exposure if possible. Good luck!

Is it under direct sunlight? If yes, plz keep only under indirect Sunlight. Look like a bad news. Most probably the cutting hasn't produced roots yet. If you like, you can try easier method as I have shown in this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gBmCtYpy3VE.html Very easy to do this in Summer and we can get result much faster, Good Luck!
