Lumpiang Shanghai is a type of finger food that is served during celebrations like birthdays, baptism, Christmas, New Year, feasts and other occasions here in the Philippines. It is a Filipino egg roll usually filled with pork minced, carrots celery, red bell pepper, garlic, onion, etc., however this time I made it with chicken instead of pork. It is best eaten with a dipping sauce, ketchup or spiced vinegar.
Ingredients:
2 pcs thigh with drumstick
1 medium-sized onion
5 cloves of garlic
1/3 cup chopped carrots
2-3 stalks celery
1 tbsp coarse salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 pc egg
