Last week my teacher learned me a shorter version of tactic #4: A right hook places the head into the power path of the left high kick to the head.

Great vid!! Damien is an amazing fighter. Can you do a breakdown of the recent clash between Ruben Lee and Artur Kyshenko. Kyshenko took on three separate guys in China. Two of them he bashed up - Ruben Lee however, totally dominated his fight! A real good showcase of Muay Thai skills. I have sent you the link to fight in email. Thanks for the great breakdown - keep up the fantastic work!! best Mark

Amazing video, as usual, Lawrence. Damien Trainor is the personification of what I like to call, "technical aggression". He doesn't just swing with reckless abandon. Everything he does has a purpose. Great job!

Usually on the last right leg teep (in orthodox stance the back leg teep, in southpaw the front one) it's better (and, I know, also more difficult) to block it with the left elbow and make like you're throwing a hook because if you make your opponent turn on his left he hasn't got the opportunity to hit you back.. once you make your opponent rotate and you're away from his visual you can do to him whatever you want SAFELY. Sorry for the bad english, hope you'll understand anyway

In my utmost humble opinion. Remarkable work yet again mr Kenshin, I first stumbled upon mr Trainor through the tutorials on the Warrior Collective’s channel, and there are an tremendous amount of talented practitioners out there, but less often than not, one stumbles across practitioners like mr Trainor, and they truly are a different breed. I remember I had the tutorial playlist on auto-play, and I went into the kitchen to get some water, then suddenly I heard something of a kin to gunshots, walked into the living room and it was mr Trainor’s tutorial in explosive padwork combinations that had started playing.. 😱 It just blew my mind, and he truly is the epitome of the saying “ clear waters conceals hidden depths” Again, another phenomenal technique breakdown sir, always a joy to watch.😀 Sincere regards. Fellow martial artist. Tom Framnes Norway.
