It’s now been over 3 years since this was released. I was in love with this thing right when I saw it but never got it. I watched the video over and over again. I finally started to count and I counted around 200 times. Still don’t have it but dreaming of the 120a
For anyone having nuts un doing themselves, or screws from using the this or any other RC..... Buy some LOCTITE (Its an Thread locker). So LOCTITE screws and nuts onto metal with a dab of LOCTITE on the threads. Will not loosen out from vibration,m and is not a permanent glue or anything either, its regular practice in the hobby community when building RC's anywhere where metal meets metal. Apply a dab to the threads of all Screws, bolts, nuts that have to be fastened onto or into another metal part, and anywhere there's expected to be rotational vibrations. Now with Wheel Hub NUTS, they are usually Nyloned Nuts, so I suggest TEFLON Thread Tape. and thicken the threads on the axles. Or some pick up some better nylon threaded hub nuts. Awesome Review
RC cars sure have improved since I bought my first hobby grade truck, a 2.5 Traxxas Revo. At the time I bought a Nitro machine, because I wanted to run it not charge batteries... Now, I could have something faster, that requires less tinkering.
I really don't see how rc cars stopped being so popular. As a child I had many Tyco cats and trucks. They weren't as fast nor as durable as the newer cars today, but they were a world of fun for me. This was an awesome video!
No Open space like before to play in... Many Parks Don't Permit... Many Construction Sites That Had Moutain High Dirty or Sand are fenced off... Open Spaces are fenced off... And Many Open Spaces Have Been Converted In Homes or High Density Condo Style Homes... Dirt Race Tracks In Open Fields Were No Longer Permitted...
+Hampus Rose Since I see you don't really mind spending ~$250 here and there, you wouldn't mind getting one per all of these people who can't afford it, right? Not everyone can get a job to priority or afford an RC car that expensive.
I've got two rc cars on is losi and the other is latrax. The losi is the 1/10 scale brushless sct xxx. The latrax is the latrax teton 1/18 scale. They are AWESOME!
This is why you don't buy a value brand RC truck because a lot of the times parts and services are hard to come by, it's worth spending the little extra money to have the customer support, and being able to go to a hobby shop and for them to have your parts already in stock. I'd save up a little money and get a Traxxas, Losi, HPI, Team Associated, or one of the other big name companies
+Accelerated Weather so true... Someone else was saying this to me.. main reason why I bought a kyosho mp9 tki3.. can always get parts.. and it holds it money value
I got this car 2 weeks ago. it's very durable, fast and allot of fun. The quality of material used in it is good and strong. it has a slipper clutch for adjustment and goes on wheelie every time I full throttle!it's enough fast enough on 2s and safe to play but on 3s it's unbeatable terrain monsters. Throw on any terrain and it will prove superiority.
hey ben i bought this on gearbest but i did not recive it yet BUT YOU WERE THE PERSON THAT SHOWED THE CAR TO ME YOU ARE A GOOD PERSWADER SO THANK YOU GOOD JOB ON THESE VIDEOS
1/10 all day!!!!!!!!! 1/16 are too small, remind me of rc cars wed play with as kids...note: my son has a 1/18 but its a losi mini rock crawler with 200$ in upgrades, 1/10 are for grown ups, anything smaller, get em for ur kids lol
too much money..lol you don't want to know what I paid for my Revo 3.3 long body never mind some upgrades. Plus I have a full conversion brush less set up I swap with once on awhile. They can get expensive but it's the nature of the hobby..lol
Its actually cheap... There aren't too many reliable Chinese RC cars but they usually are around this price point. A comparable car with a brand name behind it will be around 500 bucks. I have cars between 700 and 1800 bucks.. That doesn't take into account mods so the 700 car is now up to 1K in price.. Do the math with the one costing 1800 bucks.
This is really very faster than my thought .You have said that you will give this car to a lucky person and i really want to be that lucky person.I LOVE IT BUT I CAN'T AFFORD IT....
I got mine a day or so ago... Its crazy fast and fun.....the whole 5 minutes I got to play with it. In 5 minutes of playing, a lug nut came off, headlight wires pulled out of a led headlight and to top it all off the servo saver split in two rendering the steering inoperable. Its not as tough as the dude says it is in the video. Consider this when you are about to hit the pay button. I contacted gearbest and am waiting on their reply. Will update soon
Did you drop it off a cliff? I'm still thrashing mine around months later and it runs fantastic. (I mention the lug nut in my video, at that's a quick easy fix.) Maybe you received a defective unit..
Lol no cliffs, just racing around a parking lot and in the middle of turning it just went straight and wouldn't turn. The servo saver split in two at it thinnest point. A defective unit is possible because I didn't receive the toolkit as well as the ecm was flopping around straight out of the box. Had to retape it down. I hope gearbest does me right because this thing is a blast. I just tried superglue to fix the piece and it only lasted a minute or so lol
i have bought a revo3.3 (5309) , jato 3.3 ,rustler, emaxx, slash anddddd the list goes on experimenting with electric and nitro'd rc models and im about 4 years into it , i bought this one with some birthday money and iv gotta say its probably the most out of box fun i had considering the big ass price difference.
Got around about the same size car 80 mph over the years probably got over three grand dumped into it buddy had a racetrack we had about 30 plus people there on the weekends racing all their dune buggies those are some fun times
+AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke Im so mad because i was looking for a cheap rc car that was fast and hobby grade for months and i was look at every rc i could get...
