I have lost count of the number of SFA gigs I went to back in the day, from stadiums (supporting the Manics), to Clwb in Cardiff, where they played the Mt. album through in its entirety, plus a few extra tracks. They were all great, I miss them.
I'm so glad I discovered SFA...I'm from the US and absolutely no one I know has a clue about who they are, or how unbelievably great they are, and have been for over 20 years! A few years back I came upon the hilarious synchronized, "cable surfing" video for "Rings Around the World" and watched it daily for months (still a fave) Now, well, hell, I'm ready to learn Welsh..I'd do it for these guys.. :) Cause SFA is worth it!!!
Allan Ostermann Hi there Allan. Lovely to hear that this band has made such an impression on you, they really are something else! If you’re on Facebook I suggest you follow this forum to give you an insight into everything SFA. m.facebook.com/groups/247276695636240 Croeso buddy 👍🏼🏴👌🏼
Hi, again. I love the SFA Facebook site. I don't know if you saw the art I put up (I did a drawing of Gruff, and shared some other stuff, art, being an (apologetic ), American and my RU-vid Playlist of the band. Check it out: ru-vid.com/group/PLtD3vGhP0s6dyoQ3n10dujU3rQckHoU7D&disable_polymer=true
Allan Ostermann Howdee mate, I was actually looking at the portraits this morning and I must say I was very impressed. Take no notice of any negative comments buddy as there’ll always be some of those. So glad you’re enjoying the site, it’s a great music ‘venue’ even for non SFA stuff. A little footnote for you, it’s exactly 1 year until the UK leaves Europe. I, personally am very disappointed, but here is Gruff’s version. Hope you enjoy buddy. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ur7_jT-obmc.html
thank you i myself has tried to join i want to see information on there gigs so i can get tickets its realy hard for myself to find out where they are playing so hopefully i can join this site
They should be just as famous as Radiohead. One amazing Glastonbury they were simultaneous headliners ! As Gruff said "Who here hates Radiohead ?". He then told off people who cheered !

Also I loved the show; but I would have enjoyed it even more if they'd played some more gritty songs like Sidewalk surfer girl or Edam Anchorman or even Hometown Unicorn... I guess that's one problem - they have too many good songs!
Yeah true but hometown unicorn was played :) I've seen them about 7 times but this was special. We also met them at the football stadium after the Wales Russia game, happy days!
@@steviegardner Completely. Now that premium recreation gigs are accepted, I'd pay good money to revisit that set list with full chest-vibrating surround and long Mountain People and TMDGAF techno wigouts !
Ice Hockey Hair was the only song I was slightly gutted they didn't play. 'Now that you're here, tell me you're a non-believer!' Special gig, special competition, special football team and special fans!
