I have been playing this game since it came out. I recently started watching videos and I missed so much. Your videos is not just good for new players but us old heads too lol
As an end game player who took a break. Not just Apoc, but just if someone were to take a break and come back, there just is not resources in the game to go back and build many characters. Gold is in such short supply. I was planning on taking my entire Spider society to G18 and level 95 and eventually take some amount of them to 100 and G19 for DD7, and I still have not gotten them there. I skipped building Pandapool and Deadpool and Dakan for now to continue pumping more and more into spider society and i did build OML for arena and then I just unlocked Super Skrull and got both of them to 100 and G18 for now with all their T4s. But I still need to go back and level up Sunfire just a little bit more who I had build up for Apoc, and Wolverine is still quite low. Spending 6M per day, barely most days and it is just not enough. I have a billion training mats somehow (probably because I bought way too much blue and purple gear back in the day, I don't know). Regardless, there is not enough gold in the game and I barely buy more than 1 crimson unique per day, sometimes 2. It would be nice to be able to build up new characters as they are released to like G16 and level 85 while still being able to put a couple million gold into older characters that were either skipped, reworked, or for "fun" because we want to.
I'm there with you, took a 3 year long break came back and there is just not any gold in this game anymore I'm level 72 and most of my characters are still at 54. I managed to get spider society up to 60 the other day there just isn't the resources to build these teams. I have a lower level account too and that one is stuck with no training mats.
You can’t expect to catch up in a week or two my guy. I was a top 100 player 4 years ago with a very nearly maxxed account. Quit because of stupid raid schedule. I’m very encouraged at the changes they’ve made, catching up is 90% of the fun. Enjoy the journey because once you get to the destination it’s just a daily grind.
I do not expect to catch up in 4 weeks, I'll be lucky in a year to have 75% of the Meta built if I don't build any older characters. I'm never building up Secret Defenders, New Avengers, or super 6
Not expecting to catch up but when 90% of the teams I want to build up are sitting at level 54 and I only have the resources to build up one team to level 70 when I'm at 75 feels a bit wrong.
@@exodore2000 Then you played it wrong. I returned 6 months ago after 3 years out (or whenever Black Bolt was added to the game) with a new account and I am level 99, I have OML, all my raid teams nodes except bio (just need to level void knight from 70-->85 should do it) and then I need to work on Alpha Flight. I focussed hard on Arena Meta and built up everyone for that (sadly wasted a lot of resource on MMHL who I dont even use, and probably overpowered Cyclops and Sunspot (who got replaced by OML and BK in arena)). That got me top 10 for a good few weeks until people in my shard started getting skrull and apoc (spenders be spenders) which I am nowhere near. I spend minimal resource to stay competitive (Still top 20 in arena and have been in the top 50 since my first month, and top 20 for the last four (although I I am battling for that 20th place, with everyone above me having OML at 6 stars or maxed BK or Skrull or Apoc, so I COULD throw more investment into my arena teams but it's about being competitive, not being the best. I save all the gear resources and training mats I can, and I focus on one team a week; one toon per day. The only exceptions I make are for things like Sword Satellite, or the OML Trials (where I invested the minimum to clear node 1 and get 4/1 star OML). All of this f2p. Obviously it makes me less able to contribute in war, and I come stuck in Crucible a lot, simply because I have hoarded as much as I can. Now I'm in a good alliance earning good rewards frequently (it helps that we have people who buy the new toons on day of release so they can do the other nodes that the rest of us can't in spotlight etc or alliance milestones). Follow Dorky, follow Rayge, and slow down, and you'll smash it.
Any plans to make a guide video on maxing GGC? You mentioned some of what is needed in this video. But maybe more details such as what T4s? Levels? Modifies? Etc lol.
Hey DorkyDad. I’m a player returning to the game after a few years, mostly just been building my raid teams the past month. I was wondering if you guys had any spots in your alliance? I’m about to be level 90
Robbie and Black Cat are still super good and get very occasional play in arena but used every war and crucible to great effect. Ms Marvel may be worth it, but I don't know if I would at this point. Photon and Strange are dead weight at this point.
Checked for a new player guide oops its not a new player guide its for mid player guide Didn't even get Oldman Logan due to how hard that shit was for players around lvl 70-75 which sucks now new players have zero access to him yeah so much bs from the game
@@sandeepmazumdar8 yeah right tell that to the people who hit lvl 75 on the time of the event and don't have whole spider society missing Peni or Peter Parker with xtreme just doing ok dmg and barely scratch the surface. My guild is full of new players with lvls around 70-80 none made it past or unlock oldman logan as much all of us started around the same time and don't have the right units
