Ore Family *Since Mark is my bias, i know a bit about his family let me explain to you His parent was Taiwanese, he was born in Taiwan but grow up in LA because his family move out a lots when he was young (if i don't get wrong it's because of his family business.) so he can speak English like his first language. his dad said he also speak Chinese to him too, that why Mark can understand and speak Chinese too ^^ sum up- Mark lives at LA since he was young til about 16-17 years old and come to Korea to be JYP trainee at 2010 i think these will help your curious :)

Sheena Farro No offense, but I think Australia will need to deal with its discrimination/hate toward minority first before any kpop concert can take place. Last time I checked there was an white Australia native on a train yelling at at tourist from Hong Kong to go back to China. The way that she dares to speak out her mind in the public shows me that the discrimination issue in Australia is pretty darn serious.

whqweoijnn I wholeheartedly agree with you, no nation is perfect and there will always be some people who continue to be racist and show prejudice towards people who are 'different'. But i personally don't feel it's right to generalize an entire population/country based on a few particularly bad situations, though this in no way justifies what some messed up people do. As for k-pop concerts being held here, there have already been plenty, one even in Perth. Australia is an extremely multicultural and diverse country (i myself have experienced being bullied due to 'looking different' when i was really young by immature kids) but since then all i have been blessed with is beautiful people who show no hate or discrimination and a great life. No country is perfect and there is always bound to be a few people who continue to show hatred to other races for no reason, but i don't think that justifies making a generalization about an entire country based on a few experiences or situations, with particularly prejudice, rude people. I can safely say that the ratio of diversity and acceptance of multiculturalism in this country are far more great then that of the occasional hate and racist remarks and situations (but again, i do not say this to justify these circumstances, just to be more realistic) ~

whqweoijnn I agree with Sheena. I don't think it's appropriate for an entire country to be generalised and spoken ill of just because of the actions of a few individuals that hold very separate views from everyone else living in Australia. I agree that Australia has its issues with racism but frankly speaking that applies to EVERY country in this world. If you saw the video of that particular incident you are referring to, you would realise that A LOT of people stuck up for the victim and that lady spewing the racism was actually taken to court and penalised for her actions. So please don't hate on our country based on a few incidents. I have grown up here from since I was 2 years old and I haven't been subject to discrimination. There's always a few individuals that were raised wrong and have views not like the rest of the nation but that sure does not represent our country as a whole. Also, I don't understand how this has anything to do with a KPOP concert. All the KPOP concerts held here have been received well. We don't get any love as we're a smaller market than most countries but the KPOP concerts are not coming here not due to discrimination but purely a marketing thing.

Yeah tbh he kinda sounds like he's a robot that's been programed to speak and he made the atmosphere a little awkward. I remember when UKiss was on the show a few weeks back, and Kevin actually finished most of the mc's sentences lol I would've prefered the female MC's because they speak soo fluently between languages, but hopefully he'll warm up to the MC Position.

No it's just you. The guy's English is perfectly fluent. Before him they had a different female MC not the one who dj'd GOT7 first appearance and basically her mc-ing is the epitome of awkward if you want a comparison.
