6:45 this room, THIS ROOM is cancerous. Nah for real, i always try to go for no kills but those headless versions of the thinmen, i just don't know how to get past them without shooting (they don't care about meat nor flares)
I was able to get past them just by using the hiding spots, though the timing is tricky. You can also aggro them and run away to pull them in slightly different walking patterns.
@@infinitybound7218 Yeah but to activate the tendons, i guess they'll enventually catch up, and then there's no way out. I suppose you could just take the health tonic and leave, but then no nightmare sequence for you. I don't know the effect of this scene (positive or negative karma), but i'm guessing if it's not made available without firing a shot, maybe it's rather bad for karma (and thus skippable)
@@Flak_Jacket It is still possible to complete it without firing a shot, since that tonic is required to fully heal Hank and get the Pure Angel achievement (and you also can't leave the sequence once you've entered). It seems to me like the headless thinmen allow you to get closer than normal ones without aggroing, even when they face you. I got through this area without shooting the gun just by timing hiding spots and being really patient with their movement patterns. You also need to tank the damage from some of the crawlers near the tendons. There's luck involved for sure, but it's definitely possible.
