I didn’t have good luck yesterday, but had a great week last week at my bins with a vintage Versace bag, Aviator Nation sweatshirt, and a Zadig and Voltaire jacket! That Hermes scarf is so so beautiful! Great finds as always Megan!

Megan, I totally think it was eclipse day luck me and my Thrifting Bestie Ashley went to the bins yesterday and I found a $800 wedding gown and my first ever piece of Johnny was that’s worth 120! It was the luckiest Thrift day I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine it getting much better so I totally believe that the eclipse was just good luck for us.

Nice finds! I found n Hermes scarf at the bins here in New York and I was shaking too. I worked luxury for 20+ years so I knew it was real but I had it authenticated anyway I probably paid 50 cents for it since it was by the pound I sold it for 350.00 I held on to it for almost a year before posting it because I wanted to keep it. Last year I found a large Gucci floral scarf that sold on eBay for 298.00 the black bag you have should have Gucci stamped on the hardware I worked for the company and the hardware is stamped

FYI if you want to view the eclipse but don't trust the glasses a welders helmet does the job

What a haul. I would have scoured the first store with the Burberry and Hermes scarf. Last year at one of my regular thrift stores someone donated bags of Missoni, YSL, Etro ect. I spent 5 hours searching the store and called a reselling friend. I bought the glasses since I am a hour away from where there was totality but was overcast and you could not see anything
