I think what you call the Raccoon Suit, is actually called the Tanooki Suit, and I think in Japan Tanooki are known to be able to transform with the use of leafs, and that is why Mario Transforms into the Tanooki Suit with the use of a leaf

Sweet. Balance is slowly being restored to the Mario series. Luigi's back in the frey, and Peach is a contributing team member instead of a hostage. Now all that is needed is for Yoshi to get his own solo title, and for the Mario Brothers to regain their Brooklyn accents.

In Shadow-Play Alley, you could save to Toad at the end because if you went down, you would see that the Bowser was actually a statue. You were supposed to destroy it.

On another note, I believe the cat suit bell is a reference to lucky cat statues, since Nintendo tends to throw a lot of references to Japanese culture in these games. Lucky Cats usually have bell collars.

Actually the raccoon suit is called a Tatoonki and transform using a leaf.

If you walk into the foreground on the one with the Bowser shadow, you see it's just a wooden stand-up thing, and when you walk into it, it falls over, and Captain Toad gives you a green star.

Kwing, the spin jump in this game is just like the one in Mario Sunshine. You have to dash in a circle, then jump.

I might be late for saying this, but to spin you can do it on two things. 1 circle the control stick or control pad then jump. 2 jump on your partner. I personally like the first option better. :) You guys are great!

Kwing, it's called double cherry pass because when you eat the cherries you get a "double", as in double cherry pass. :D

The reason why there were two of kwing is because the cherry gives you a new duplicate and that is why the level was called double cherry pass

For the browser shadow, go forward in the place and there is a moving cardboard cut-out. Knock it over to destroy it and get a green star from toad.

I think to spin jump you run in a circle until you start spinning, then you jump! =D

I think you spin jump the same way you do it in "Super Mario Sunshine", run around in circles and jump. That might work.
