Zack, I always use world 1-1 as my go-to for cat power-ups. You can get 2 and breeze through the level very quickly. Just a helpful tip. Lovin' the vids.

Fun fact: (Besides a Boss Rush) Cosmic Cannon cluster is the last non-remixed level you’ll play before Champions Road, and it also happens to be the second hardest level in the game

There have been some tough-ish levels, but the curve was generally pretty gradual regardless. But Cosmic Cannon Cluster tosses it out the window. I hate switchboards because they're hard to control, I hate Dry Bones because they never go away, I hate the bomb helmet thing because it auto fires for no reason and is sometimes tough to aim, and then they throw all if it in at once. Then that "go up" segment... I don't know what I can possibly be doing wrong. Maybe it's my angle somehow, but whoever I use doesn't get the air needed to get to the next one, even if I press jump or use Rosy's spin (which sometimes blows up the bomb ladder anyway). I acknowledge that I'm not good at platformers, but that was a heck of a jump. After that it isn't too bad, except that last Green Star with the falling issue, but my god that was nothing like the levels prior to it.

Playing through with my wife on the switch version and came here for some help on this very level. We tried so long trying to jump up the cannonballs and couldn't do it. Just tried some more by myself and was able to do it. Very steep curve on this one compared to what came before.
