Just the various extras and little things that didn't make it into the main videos! Check out Smooth McGroove! Big thanks to him for letting me use his music in my videos! / smoothmcgroove
I remember that most of my time in New Super Mario Bros. was playing that Luigi poker game and was how I got started with my enthusiasm for poker and gambling in general. All my skills I obtained from that mini-game was translated to Poker Night at the Inventory, where I learned my love for Texas Hold'em, even though the 2 games are different. If I had to tell the people of the mini-game section for this game and NSMB, it would be this: "Thank you for teaching kids how to gamble."
4:50 Well, the penguin does slide on his belly which would create a lot of friction that just might generate enough heat to melt off some fat. I guess that's what you'd call *burning calories*! . . . I'll see myself out.
+Drekyl 1 It would help because of all of the people that were clambering for Waluigi to be in the game. Even if he wasn't a playable character, it would be very satisfying to see him in the game.
+lukesk11135 u need 150 starz, he iz on roof, jus jump in teh peech painting, run aroun the casle in the painting den waluigi will say "wah hah ha ha imma waluigi" and u hav to battl waluigis dopplgangern to unlock him. u can use him by goin to white room sinc u alredy got teh star dere.
"Sort or 'Splode" was my favorite minigame to play in New Super Mario Bros DS. Especially whenever I played it with my younger brother. Seeing it alongside Luigi's gambling minigames and that Mario trampoline game (11:25) brought me back in a way that I never thought a simple minigame could.
The mini games in SM64DS have themes to them. Yoshi is mainly puzzles and memorization and such. Mario's mini games are action-oriented, requiring quick thinking in order to succeed. Luigi's mini games, obviously enough, are all luck-based. Finally, Wario's mini games are mainly about concentration. Additionally, every character has at least 1 mini game that's a harder and/or longer variant of a previous one. Yoshi has Puzzle Panel and Puzzle Panic, and Mario has Bounce & Pounce and Bounce & Trounce. Luigi has quite a few, with Mario Slot and Super Mario Slot, Memory Match and Memory Master, and Pair-a-Gone and Pair-a-Gone And On. Wario has Coincentration and Intense Coincentration, as well as Snowball Slalom and Giant Snowball Slalom.
I feel like crying on the chest mini game it’s pure nostalgia to me and I actually smiled for once when I played this mini game the first time man what I’d do to go back to that time
@@francissanto12 Now, it *_ACTUALLY IS_* 20 years later. To think that I used to call the *_ORIGINAL,_* N64-version: ”The New Mario”, while ”Super Mario World” was ”The Old Mario”, for me. I feel so old 👴🏻.
He said back in the very beginning that mini games are tracked across save files. If you got the game used, the older owner could have unlocked all of them.
This brings back fond memories, of my brother entirely completing the game, and then me just playing my favorite levels and mí games over and over again.
For those who don't know, Chugga is at Pax this weekend, recording new content and having a great time, so cut him some slack. Check his facebook page for info.
Like what 132Meatball said, but i you are a hatless Mario, Luigi or Wario, you will be unable to use powerups from the red ! block. A Bom-omb will come out instead.
I dont know if im the only one who thinks this but its really funny just seeing all the characters chasing bunnies with that dire dire docks song kinda just like "Wow, is this what life has resorted to? Chasing fricking bunnies around?"
15:43 That ”coins-in-blocks” -minigame (yeah, that’s, what I’m going with) reminds me more of Pajatso (Payazzo), than Minesweeper; but, then again, I’m Finnish, and Pajatso is a bit more of a Finnish thing that most Americans probably aren’t very familiar with. 🇫🇮
Holy crap, I played those mini-games so much when I was younger. They were pretty addicting. And I never thought about releasing them in the eShop, that's a really good idea. I would definitely buy them.
That music brought back so many memories of when I had this game. and listening to the song almost made me want to cry because I lost the game somehow.
Ahh, I have fond memories of the minigames too. Firstly, for some strange reason, my mom was CRAZILY good at Sort of Splode. She had high scores in the 900's, if I remember right. In the trampoline game, you made a slight mistake: bigger trampolines don't make Mario jump higher: the closer Mario to the center Mario hits the trampoline at, the higher he'll bounce. So SMALLER ones tend to make him go higher, but are easier for him to miss entirely.
The Mother 4 game is a fan made game; just so you know. There is already a rough release date (2014 Winter). It's also free on PC :D. I'm just letting you know that some people really love the Mother series, and wanted to continue it.
I love the acapella (or however that's spelled) version of the super Mario bros theme and I didn't know that apparently me and you are the only people who like that song.
This was my favorite series that you have done. I kn ow this is a little passed the series end, but I didn't know how to comment when I was little. It would b e cool if you did Super Mario 64 Online on TheRunawayGuys.
"All right, Super Mario 64 DS multiplayer video tomorrow, Episode Marin on Thursday, new series on Friday, Woody Woods on Saturday, and another new series on Saturday!"
After about three days, Nintendo actually decided to retract that policy, having seen all the negative feedback and good arguments about the negative repercussions. So, probably not.
I think Keith Pixton was talking about Chuggaaconroy's social media posts where he talked about how his next two games are not going to be franchises he's done before.
I don't know about episodes, but Chuggaaconroy did say his next LP was a franchise he hasn't done on his channel before. I know he posted that a couple different times on Facebook.
Emile (Chugga): Now, that we have 150 Stars *goes to the File Select screen* .......................................................................................................................[silence] And I'm back! Yes, umm something kind of awkward happened, basically I tend to not save after getting stars, my last few stars in Bowser in the Sky didn't actually save. (Like that's really awkward :P)
*A few seconds after you're finished multi-tapping, re-emerges from the puddle.* Seriously, do you hate me? If so, please just tell me now and end this burning inside of me? Me 2: *Walks in.* Hai- *Sees zombie me.* I'll come back later. *Backs away from this awkward moment carefully.*
One of the rumors I heard about the top of the castle when I was little, was that it was a giant yoshi on top that became bigger as you collected stars. I guess that the reason was that he was sleeping there in the start
actually, he might actually be doing a kingdom hearts game for his next lp! because in mario party 3 when jon said he could be double weilding skeleton keys, he made the following pun,"double weilding keyblades!".
I always liked that the slot machine had the terrible art that you always see on themed slot machines and other themed funfair attractions in real life...
