For the glitch at 9:23, I remember there was a way to enter the box without triggering it to load the scene inside the ship. It was manyyy years ago but I think you had to long jump and hit the side of the wall of the black box that you would normally enter. This would cause ur character to fall into the hole but you wont enter the level so from what I remember you could walk around within it but nothing would happen.
There's a way to softlock the game in Sunshine Isles. Play as Yoshi and get all the silver stars and get hit by the Pirahna Plant. Tongue the lost Silver Star before the Power Star disappears. The game should softlock. Wasn't able to replicate it :/.
Yo I just found out if you are in a specific point at the castle, jump and while in the air, press L and R at the exact same time and for a random reason the game will crash. I’m guessing it’s because the camera can’t scroll and doing a ground pound while the game is trying to turn the camera to face Yoshi( I think the glitch only works with Yoshi ) causes it to stop thinking and crash (note: this won’t work on the Wii U virtual console version of SM64DS
I remember doing tons of glitches with yoshi exclusively. If you throw an egg the same time as jumping on a Goomba, he holds an invisible box. And sometimes things get weird and things unload for some reason, like coins. Also, if you swallow a star with yoshi in midair and land on a Goomba, you can keep the star in your mouth as long as you keep jumping as soon as you touch the ground. You can spit the stars out and they just fly into oblivion, but you can't collect them anymore. Another one is swallowing a Goomba while jumping into a cannon. Yoshi's face gets extremely glitched.
I also remember hard locking the game in mushroom mountain. Grabbing the monkey with a character using the wario hat and using the metal power up, jump into the water until it runs out. For some reason, the monkey takes your hat and leaves wario hatless, even though that should revert you to your previous form. If you grab a power flower like this, the game crashes.
About the wario in dire dire docks, you don't need to slide down to walk underwater. You can also just keep running until you fall of the edge of the ship and you'll have the same result.
I’m doing a slide kick to walk in the water but I keep sliding the wrong and back into the water. Do you have any advice for me so I can get it right because I’ve been trying it over and over again it would really help if you could say how I can get it right next time okay.
How did you do that underwater glitch at the beginning, I tried for 8 hours but never got the glitch to work. All I got was failure and warped up the castle
I found this glitch in bomb obm battlefield but heres some stuff i had when this glitch happened . I had 141 stars . I had all of the characters unlocked . And i was playing as yoshi But heres the werid part i when i played star 2 in bomb oom battlefield but when i joined as yoshi i saw on the map 2 mario caps so i grabbed 1 but when i grabbed the other i got a 1 up i don't witch what caused this
That's actually a feature. You can do it with 1 star to and no characters. It's not a glitch. Your welcome if you didn't know that. Tell me anything about the game that I know of for the least. And I shall ask... How many days did it take you to find all 150 stars. It only took me 10 days, thanks to dumb rng with the 8 glowing rabbits. And some strategy too. With only 1 guide usage.
U can use balloon Mario in bob om battle field Ik how to do it u have to bash the block with the Luigi cap or wario cap when play Mario then hit a enemy that get the power flower fast as Mario
There is a neither heavens portal I discovered one in the Jolly Roger bay room in the castle Its in the hole with the 1-up and you want to go into one of the two back corners nd you want to slideclick into the corner as of now haven’t been able to pull it off but there is definetly a heavens portal there
Ok I know this is sorta on me, but as soon as I did the last glitch, I reset to get the sound back and now I can't go to the top part of the castle without a key :/
I have a way to game crash (requires 7 red coins by pressing l,r and select cheat) and you have 7 red coins but the red coins are still there so collect a red coin lets the star spawn and collect another coin and kaboom ur game is crashed
So for me doing the hat glitch, I got 64 and managed to collect them all despite lag (I play on 3ds) and once I attempted to get more the snowman stopped spawning so I had to quit and restart to retrieve it. Anyone else?
No a lot of the physics engine and collision data was redone which is why all of these new glitches are there the biggest thing they redid was capping the negative speed a character can have which completely patched BLJs which was all about gaining tons of negative speed by long jump backwards quickly against walls or on slopes
