Gonna say Version 5 because its an actual Atari game. One that is remarkable and unbelievably good Atari game! Plus 16:24... what a killer sound effect for going down a pipe! The pit fall guy one on the NES is probably number 2.
In terms of the NES hacks, I would say Ver. 3, as it looks most like an Atari game. But personally, since they are just graphic hacks of the action NES game, I really don't think those count. For the two actual Atari games, it's definitely Princess Rescue. It's an actual game built from the ground up to look, sound, and play like Mario as close as the Atari can get. Whereas the last one is just a hack of a different game.
# 3 probably looks most accurate to an Atari game, though the cheep cheep and Bowser sprites were WAY too lazily done-Atari may be known for simple graphics, but they kinda over exaggerated it with those two characters’ designs

Sorry no patched roms available anymore with me. I will the put the links in the description in sometime for all the rom patches for the nes versions. Just apply them over a clean SMB(world) nes rom using Lunar ips patcher.
