When you kill enemies on your screen, they spawn in on the people you're attacking. (You can pick who you want to hit either specifically or with one of four presets.) You get a KO by having one of these enemies take out another Mario.

Every time you kill an enemy on your world you send an enemy to the selected opponent. When you die you get disqualified from the match, and if one of the enemies you sent kills the opponent a KO is awarded to you.

When you kill an enemy (even Bowser) it will spawn in another player's game and if it kills them you get the KO.

If you kill an enemy, a copy of it gets sent to other people's screens. If they die to an enemy you sent, you get a KO.

This is such a nice change of pace for GDQ. The fact that improvisation is important here and speed isn't always the best answer makes this stand out from the usual.
