credits to Mario 85 and Nintendo the music (and for inspiration) minecrafter XD for the minor key version of the overworld theme
and I would put a warning but there's only so much you can do to make a Mario with a darker palleted scary

before anyone says I stole the idea of a cursed Mario chasing you from Mario 85 that's probably because its the only one to really have a chase seen (and I'm bad at creating other ideas)

You have so much potential for this! I mean, why doesn't Luigi try out the pipes? Did something happen there that he is trying to get away from? Luigi's face looks like remorse or sorrow. Maybe Mario tried a new powerup, a mix of the posion mushroom and a one-up. Maybe Mario finally ran out of lives, and Luigi is in denial. Sure starts out looking like one of the other .exes or Mario 85, but you can use that to your advantage, and flip the script or create a new story. What is the deeper theme that you are going for? So many possibilities! If any of these ideas help, go ahead and use them! You have a cool idea started!

thanks! also imma answer some of your questions 1: Luigi doesn't go in the pipes because those pipes aren't ones you can try out but maybe I will add something later on. 2: yes Luigi does look a bit sad and his interaction with "Mario" probably made is worse :/ 3: as for Mario he is in the game...but of course something is very wrong with him. I never really thought of a story for this so all I'm going to say is that he's possessed or somethin 4: yeah I thought someone would notice the biggening seemed like Mario 85 so that's why in level 1-2 I add this eye monster thingy and in 1-3 the level is just burning cause why not? thx 4 the support and hope I answered a lot of your questions :)
