Being that the power ups would give Mario the ability to throw all those weapons out of his palms, he’d do okay. His athletic ability is far beyond Bill Rizer. His only weakness would be him getting hit. When Bill gets hit, he dies and starts over. Mario would get hit and keep going, but lose his powerup. Mario fighting one of Contra’s bosses with nothing but jump power may not be fun for him.

I don't think Mario would hold up so well in the world of Contra. ... Well, at least until Mario gathered some of that ammunition. It would also be COOL if Mario put on ammunition belts like the people in Contra do. 🙂

My question is what are they feeding or having those Kuppas wear? It took more than one hit from the lazer weapon (supposed to be one of the strongest weapons in contra) to kill the kuppas and even the turtles (i can kinda see the turtles with the shell).
