Just beat the final boss last night, played the whole game with Daisy. Her cheerfulness is borderline aggressive, and I love it. It's like she's so excited to finally be playable in a mainline Mario game.
My only complaint is there’s no story relevance for her. I mean, this is the flower kingdom, her name is Daisy, this would’ve been a nice little retcon. Sure, it didn’t have to be anything huge, 2d Mario stories are designed to be scant, but Pauline was at least mayor of new donk city.
Finally Daisy, I missed her for years. She was not in super Mario 3D world. I still wish the ice flower and the cat bell back , that are forms she haven’t yet :( but… I’m so happy I can finally play as princess Daisy in this game❤❤❤ keep going Nintendo 🥰
It was so much fun playing the whole game with my cousin, she used Peach,I used Daisy, finally after years she is also playable and the princess duo is possible💟
@@primrosevale1995 but it was already confirmed that sarasaland only has 4 kingdoms (Birabuto, Muda, Chai and Easton respectively) not 5, also Daisy is clearly there as a guest not as a part of the kingdom’s royalty.
@@DJFoxy-TheKitsune At the time of _Super Mario Land._ Plus we never saw Daisy’s home kingdom in that game. Also her regent’s taking charge why would she worry herself?

Well, there's the adorable inflation that I asked and needed. I love pretty ladies inflation, and love that Peach has a playable balloon form now. Every Mario game is a masterpiece on it's own, but this single balloon level with the possibility to play as Peach is what made me buy the game even before owning a switch (got the switch two days later). Otherwise I would still just stick to the NES and SNES like I've done for decades, and just appreciate the newer Mario games from the distance (watching them on RU-vid or playing them at a friends' house). Always liked seeing all the Mario and male friends inflations in different games. Prior to this, I think the best feeling and looking one was the Yoshi blimp berry inflation on Mario Galaxy 2, where you control his deflation. That Yoshi tail looks cool and funny on his inflated body, plus the excitement of the fear of Mario falling from the heights so he can't let go of Yoshi. But even that wasn't enough to make me buy a Wii. Guess I'm a bit lazy when it comes to handle the game Joysticks, and wasn't very enthusiactic about shaking them (I had the impression all Wii games required this), though this was part of the Wii's success. The P Balloon in Mario Maker 2 looks great, and as you can create your own levels, you can use it all you want. That seemed very tempting, but I still wanted a more feminine character to play as. Peach has eyelashes on her eyes, lipstick, and woman shoes, perfect details that I love to see in a character that inflates like a balloon. I feel the happiest person in the world!!
