How do you tell someone they are terrible at video games without being insulting or sounding like an elitist jerk?
What are you supposed to say when someone wants to play video games with you, but they can’t even pass the very first level of Super Mario Bros. without dying on every single obstacle? You know the one I’m talking about; released in 1985 by Nintendo, where the first level (World 1-1) is designed to be trivial, serving as an introduction to the game mechanics and allowing first time players to complete it without much difficulty.
