Chuanyun probaby treasure his instrument more than anyone else. He's adding the percussion sound to the piece because it's fine to the instrument. I think, he really play the violin like a 4 year old plays with his toys. He brings the potentials out from the violin. It 's fun to even watch him play.
this is incredible really, this guy has really good skills in the fiddle.. u should repair the name u wrote it bad, his name is Li Chuanyun... fantastic violin player at my taste. Is this REALLY improvised? it doenst looks like.. the dynamics of his playing seems to be a studied version.. but if the improvised this for real.. he is not human hehe.
Very fun! Well done! When i noticed 52 dislikes for this, it saddened me that there are people so miserable that they feel the need to dislike something like this. :(
Vengerov is great at making faces and often has issues with tone production, though his left hand pizzicato is awesome. Mutter has a floppy vibrato that seems to characterize many 21st century "prodigy" violinists. Oistrakh, Menuhin, Milstein, Heifetz, Elman, Stern... are no longer with us. Chang's tone often imitates a singer with breathing problems. Van Mae and Hahn aren't particularly courageous... rather boring to listen to. Li here is having the time of his life, and is fun to listen to.
Finally a RU-vid member who can play the violin well! A very quirky arrangement, I loved the sound effects. The double stops all sound good, and the portamentos are perfectly smooth. Great job. This is what all those terrible amateur performers of video game tunes on this website should be learning from.
I play violin and I have never thought to play it like this. This guy is amazing and put a really unique spin on just about ever aspect of playing the violin. :D
THAT... ON THE.....wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
If he is the best violin player in the world then Max Vengherov, Anne-Sophie Mutter, David Oistrach, Iehudi Menunhin, shell I continue? Zuckermann, Whath are this names??? perhaps they are goods. I think they are the best violin pleyer's in the whorld and he is just a clovn whith a violin, he is making show.... and a bit of music. Lisent to Max Vengherov, that is violin playing.
Yeah reading the music is a good idea too. Sorry, I didn't mean to leave that part out. See I'm a better reader than a ear learner, but I can do both if I have to. It helps me to hear it that way I have an understanding of what's going on in the music. It helps to look at the music while listening to it too. We do that in orchestra all the time.
He's not hitting the violin with the bow. If a player that skilled is doing it then you know he knows what's good and what's bad for his instrument. The technique he's doing is called "col legno" and he's actually hitting the string.
sorry I take back what I said. He USED to bash the bridge...apparently he bashes teh violin now. Anyway, its a cheap violin. Its one of his special gifts to make great sounds from cheap Chinese crappy violins.
not really look at the wood quality and color. i hit the crap out of my $14,000 violin sometimes and dont leave a scratch. plus you can listen to the tone quality of his violin and tell that its not cheap
he does a pretty good job at playing this. but his uncle probably told him a few tricks that most people dont know. after all his uncle did write it and make mario too...
hell. at least hes not beating the crap out of it. hes just tapping it with his bow. who cares. its his instrument anyway. he can do whatever he wants to it.
Wooow!!! Bravooo!!! You are awesomeeee!! That was great. That's the right feeling and the fun of playin an instrument that you really like and enjoy. Congrats!
Kid's got a lotta talent- but yeah, it does make me cringe to hear him hit the violin, damage or no damage. My violin is far too valuable to me to do anything like that! But bravo, I bow to his playing ability!
