A sequel to Super Mario Galaxy: Every Single Black Hole is currently in the works! I don't have the video being worked on at this very moment because I have no clips to use. Super Mario Galaxy 2: Every Single Black Hole is a public collab(for those who didn't know), so if you guys want to help out, that would be greatly appreciated! I'm currently preparing for clips...aka I getting a capture card and the game.
The black holes terrified me when I was a kid. Especially when the too bad screen suddenly gets super close to a giant black hole. Thanks for the nightmares Nintendo.
The black holes in this game were terrifying especially when you can easily jump into one and it's game over. I'm generally scared of black holes everything that I have read about them they seem the most terrifying things in Space.
Never knew that I needed this in my life. It’s interesting how they’re just a random stage hazard without any gimmicks, more of like decoration than anything.
WHOOOAAAA!!!! Makes it scary as a kid for a while after words its scary as a kid but then as you get older it tends to make you laugh then it gets so annoying to the family hearing it over and over and someone just laughing at the WHHHAAAA!!!!! again and again still don't bug me one bit just makes me laugh my tail off what I was scared of as a kid CHUCKY hearing it sounded scary getting older you realize he's just a doll trying to annoy you man not even scary to me as an adult just seeing the same hoarer just made me laugh so hard except watching the end of part 2 where his head blew up but geese why are people so scared at a doll like come on!!! also dolls just make me laugh and that WHOOAAA sound is my childhood AND seeing the too bad sign cracks me up as an adult I remember being scared of boulder Geist and chucky also insainaquarium deluxes final boss CY-RAX as a kid then once you grow up its not scary just makes me laugh all night long dreaming of that terror as a kid
The only scary part about this as a kid, was the god damn horiffic sound effect... Which now being an adult, isn't scary but I still get a bit uncomfortable by it hahaha
Same tbh. as a kid i’d mute the tv for all the galaxy’s that had them in it. Even as an adult i have a gag-like reflex where i’ll plug my ears sometimes. The weird things freak you out as kids ya know?
@@SimCityEA1989 It's like browser making sure that you don't succeed at getting towards him.😉 So he put a bunch of black holes A bunch of gaps if you fall through it get Sucked in he puts that face that he won again? He's a very sick individual but I love lot and hes a ruler and a king.😎💯
The Black holes in this game were the actual reason to me in how I (ever since I was a kid more than a decade ago) found out that black holes are not only real but also the very reason when my curiousity over math, physics and especially astronomy begun to flourish ever since I found out about their existence for myself. :D
4:37 by far the scariest of the other black holes. You literally have run past these without getting too close. I would've crapped my pants if i was mario
Some of those black holes are so small that you don’t notice until the camera angle changes. Kinda terrifying to that a black hole can be so tiny, yet have all that gravitational pull. Mind blown..literally. Anyways…nice video Edit: also, 4:14….that black hole almost literally takes up the whole screen. I get why some people were creeped out by this when they were kids
In reality, black holes are actually just one singular point in space with an infinite amount of gravity, appropriately dubbed the singularity. The actual black part you "see" is called the event horizon, the area of space in which nothing can escape the gravitational pull of the singularity, not even light. Considering the entire reason we can see at all is because of photons (subatomic particles that make up the different waves of the electromagnetic spectrum) being reflected off of objects into our retinas, black holes appear as giant circles because there is no light reflecting off of it. Rather it is being pulled into the singularity. I hope this makes sense, I'm a little drunk at the moment.
Any black hole in that matter! Mario is literally suffering the same exact outer space pain like we would if we were astronauts flying in a rocket flying off to our next destination in the process of getting sucked into a black hole and disappearing out of existence basically dead! You would actually turn into actual spaghetti With your organs even doing the same thing!called spagettifacation
@teamrocketundercoveragent. I like to believe spaghettification only happens if the black hole is small it's like when we chew food so it has an easier time going down
@@webbtail245 I was stating the Google facts found online here I will give it to you please except. If you leapt heroically into a stellar-mass black hole, your body would be subjected to a process called ‘spaghettification’ (no, really, it is). The black hole’s gravity force would compress you from top to toe, while stretching you at the same time…thus, spaghetti.11 A supermassive black hole has a slightly less horrendous effect, so let’s imagine then that you opt for one of these to make your giant leap for mankind and scientific research. Sagittarius A* (pronounced “Sagittarius A-star”, and abbreviated as Sgr A*) is a supermassive black hole at the heart of the Milky Way, believed to be around 44 million km across and containing approximately 4.31 million solar masses.12 It was discovered in 1974 by two astronomers, Bruce Balick and Robert L Brown, but remained unnamed until 1982.13 Your journey into Sagittarius A* itself would begin after you slip over the event horizon, the point of no return. You would be able to see out from inside, but no-one would be able to see you because any light would fall back on you. The good news is that although the gravitational pull is much stronger than smaller black holes, the stretching tidal force is less, meaning you won’t be turned into spaghetti. But the bad news is you wouldn’t be able to get out….14 …or could you? Well, your hope lies in the theory of “white holes”. Put simply, if a black hole sucks things in, then a white hole spits them out again - wherever that may be - and the two are connected via an inter-dimensional tunnel, known as a wormhole. Or, it’s also hypothesised, if you waited long enough, the black hole will turn into a white one, anyway. This process is thought to take billions of years, but there’s no reason to be disheartened. Why? Well, due to the intense gravitational forces within, time would be speeded up for you - so it would be over in a matter of milliseconds. Of course, at present, this is only a theory…15 If you want more proof of the inadvisability of swan-diving into a black hole, consider the ‘tidal disruption’ picked up by three NASA telescopes in 2014. It was caused by a star that had come too close to a black hole at the centre of a galaxy, about 290 million light years away. It was distorted, stretched, and shredded as it was sucked into the singularity, while the residue of the destroyed star was flung out in a ‘cosmic belch’.6 16Considering our galaxy alone holds 100m stellar-mass black holes - and that our own galaxy, the Milky Way, has a supermassive black hole at its centre so enormous that it would fit inside the orbit of Mercury17 - maybe it’s time we started to learn more about these enigmatic phenomena. At least, just in case we ever find ourselves about to fall into one.
@webbtail245 most of those areas wouldn't exist due most of those black holes having more gravity than earth (A coin sized black hole has is earth gravity*
11:42 that moment when the black hole quickly changed model from black hole with red wind lines inside to a black void makes the black hole look much more terrifying.
Ah yes, the innate desire to see Mario die in every single black hole in his galaxy... 😂 I didn't think anyone would be crazy enough to make a video like this, but here we are... Mad respect to ya!
Pretty much my favorite way of dying in this game. Though it’s pretty scary, but it’s very unique that Nintendo came up these ideas from many years ago!
I always used to squint or close my eyes entirely when I died to a black hole. They are so terrifying! Especially when the camera randomly decides to zoom in extremely close to it or not.. 😟
Very few times I felt a genuine fear towards something, and as a kid, the Black Holes (and even today) freak me out, it's horrific to see a literal black spot in the middle of nowhere, menacingly staring at you
I want to mention the fact that Dreadnought Galaxy also has some black holes, but there is always a death plane above the black holes that makes Mario fall into space and possibly falling through black holes instead of getting sucked into them. The death barrier programming in Dreadnought Galaxy makes absolutely no sense lol
Nintendo is good at giving people nightmares, like one time when u fell into one of those black holes, i couldn’t sleep for 2 days, this wad when i was younger
What's really scary is just how big some real black holes are. There's one that's so huge, you could fit 17 solar systems side by side within its event horizon.
These things were not something you could just describe with words. You can feel the despair and power just by looking at it. The lightless void and abyss surrounded by eons of light from past present and future that can never escape from and you can see the accretion disk flowing knowing the point of no return is there if you get to close. Knowing that these fuckers exist and question what happens to you when you’re pulled in is the prison and fear. No clear explanation other than “come find out for yourself.” This is what makes outer space so scary and frightening because of the infinite unknown and chaos that reigns beyond. It’s so eerie and terrifying seeing these things in a Mario game and possibly if not one of the most horrific deaths in gaming history. The black specter that has no dimension and no matter. It has no meaning, no cause, no effect, no purpose, no plan, no reason. Just pull and deletes anything that comes in contact. Its not even a serial killer. It’s just a glitch in the system that has no beginning and no end. It’s just simple plain truth. How unmercifully cruel the universe is and how much we barely understand. This game is one of Nintendo’s masterpieces.
I always had a theory that these take mario to other galaxies, because when your fighting bowser jr for the first time in super mario galaxy 2, his robot collapses and explodes, but a black hole is in its place. Later in the game you go to another bowser jr level and the remains of the robot are lying there. So my theory is that mario just goes to another galaxy but dies before he gets there.
now that still stuns me too seeing the head there when a bullet bill hits you even when the toads say don't worry its broken but how can he still hit you if broke? Agree to that that's the only thing still scary to me till this day ben playing and posting clips after a while my hands get really worn out just getting to mega hammer need to take a rest for a while it kills me just to get to that stinking mega hammer now as a kid I remember being afraid of chucky boulder Geist and cy-RAX from insainaquarium as a kid but as I got older he's just a doll and you'll notice people are grown and their still scared of chucky I say common he's just a freaking doll how is a doll scary which reminds me close film to toy story believe it or not I noticed that the toys in toy story are made the same way
They actually do. If you find the black hole texture in the game’s files, you will find a blurred photo of Beach Bowl Galaxy. So it seems black holes take you to Beach Bowl (and with modding it can be done)
There I was... a 7 year old kid, playing this wonder and traumatized by those litle and GIANTS scary black holes. today I'm here, 18 years old, watching this video, and I still feel those shivers, THAT FEAR.😨😨😨😨😨
Real black holes are even worse. There's one so huge you could fit 17 of our solar system side by side comfortably within the event horizon. They also warp light in a really freaky way, too. Right outside the event horizon, it bends light so much you can see the back of your own head.
I like you can pretty much find a black hole of any size in any Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy, and while Mario can be easily sucked into them, the planets and buildings around them are left *completely* unaffected
I find it so funny how literally every single black hole is possible to die to. But some are so hard to die to that they make the perfect run look easy. What was Nintendo thinking? lol
The black hole you said was unreachable in the Good Egg Galaxy actually is reachable. You just need to select King Kaliente's Battle Fleet for this one. Also, you know that one black hole in SMG2 that kills you differently from all the others?
I need more info on how to enter the -unreachable- black hole. About the Galaxy 2 black hole, I don't know(or I don't remember) the black hole you are referring to.
@@TaylorMinecraftGaming When you get to the airships in King Kaliente's Battle Fleet, just jump off. The SMG2 black hole I mentioned is in Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet. When the platform passes the Sling Star that takes you to the first checkpoint, don't use it. Just keep riding the platform. This black hole is unique; you don't swirl into it like all the others.
Imagine if the noise the Black Holes made when you fell into one had different volumes adjacent to their size. Like the smaller ones would be kind of quiet, while the larger ones would be much louder. It would make the ones that take up a lot of the screen like at 4:14 that much more terrifying
1:40: In which Mario tries the Backwards Long Jump and fails. 7:07: Yo dawg, we put a black hole IN a black hole so you can die WHILE you die. Aren't black holes supposed to be stronger than this in real life? There's so many black holes in some of the levels that it's a miracle that the level geometry hasn't been completely ripped apart. Especially that one room in Ghostly Galaxy with those tiny black holes! The black holes also seem to be really selective about how strong they are. D:
Yea, in real life they'd rip apart these levels into an accretion disk around the event horizon, providing a banquet of matter for these black holes to feast on. And "small" ones in real life are about as big across as Paris or NYC (the big ones you could fit 17 of our solar system side by side comfortably within).
What is up with that noise at 10:06? I noticed that it's only within that area of Toy Time Galaxy, whether you fall off or get pulled into the black holes where you hear that sound when you fall through a vertical downward passage, if you know what I'm talking about. But anyway to me, that accidental sound effect makes the death sequence EVEN FUNNIER
I'm so glad the black holes aren't realistic, ones that size and as close to you as in the game, you're already a goner, and I'm glad Mario isn't spaghettified. It'd be too gruesome for Mario.
@@Fake_Moises_12 damn damn boi DAMN BOI HE THICC BOI THAT'S A THICC ASS BOI DAMN that would be my reaction and also this would also be my reaction Collins Key eating a spider and screaming and Colins and Devan key running from a snake in gummy vs real food challenge
What scares children about this death animation? There are several methods: 1. A black hole is a mysterious and frightening object. 2. Quite sharp music, specially selected musical instruments. 3. An inscription full of negativity. And this "magical" set is capable of greatly frightening a child under 10 years old, so much so that it will instill in him the fear of failure for many years, or even his whole life.
mfs will look at sm64 and be like "yea this game scary as shit dawg, theres like.. a ITS LIKE.. PEROSNALLIESED" but dude, black holes in SMG were scary. its just the fact that they're in theses colorful fun enviroments and how they make you uncomfortable being around them, like "what if the entire level got sucked up in theses holes, what happens to mario when he falls into it?" and when you learn about black holes irl, they are really scary and devastating since they can suck up whatever they want and the molecule will break apart. Its actually insane for our life or universe to be able to handle thoses bastards. whenever mario gets hurts or yknow "dies" its mostly in a cartoony way and you really dont think too much about how scary or devastatying a bottomless pit is or spikes or twomps, but black holes play into the childhood fear of everything ending. the worst part is when theses black holes come in all shapes and sizes and it can be very easy to walk/fall into them.
if you looked closely at a black hole you can see the black hole itself and weird distortion around it is the gravitational lensing. edit: i tried to change my profile picture into a black hole but it didn't work XD and what's the point of black holes? all they do is serve as a another inhumane way of killing Mario at least he doesn't get spaghettified!
Attempted to die in the impossible black hole under the moving platform. The clip was originally going to be in the Extras video, but I forgot to remove the clip.
If anyone has ever gone into a black hole they well no longer exist and never be seen again so yeah it would be absolutely extremely terrriffying to litterally everybody and not js u
