If you can do it with Mario, I'd like to see you do it with Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic jumps out of the screen to escape the ambush of Motobug and Buzz Bomber. The badniks and Dr. Robotnik follow him. It is up to you to help protect Sonic from certain death, by collecting six Chaos Emeralds for him. If you get the good ending, you turn back into your normal human self. Beware! If you fail to complete the task you will remain a pixelised character forever.

I’ve used syntheyes for the camera tracking, photoshop for making the graphics, and after effects for the animation and compositing. It took almost a month of work but I’m really happy with the result ☺️
