This video shows a new course I made containing all 153 of the current Costume Mario outfits in the game. #Mario #MarioMaker #SuperMarioMaker I don't know if this is the final number, but there haven't been any added in quite some time, so I finally decided to update my previous course with all of them that are available. The course ID is 00AD-0000-0327-71B1 if anyone wants to play it. Are you excited for the Super Mario Bros. Movie and looking for Mario content? This channel features transformative & instructional video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns & many other unique creations. My own personal gameplay, creative input & editing is clearly added into each video and thus all videos adhere to RU-vid's partner program guidelines. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.

A little bit late on my response, but I believe the reason was they didn't want to complicate the online multiplayer with all the costumes. I would rather have a more confusing multiplayer than lose all of these costumes. I wish they added more as well.

Man, I really miss these things. They were pretty much playable characters, allowing you to play as anyone you desire. And they allowed for huge creativity opportunities with makers designing whole levels around these characters. I don’t get why they decided to drop it in Mario Maker 2 when they brought back Sm4sh’s Amiibo support in Ultimate. I really wish Nintendo did more stuff like this with Amiibo. It gives them more of a purpose to spice up the game other than just providing free items. And they came out in constant updates unlike 2 where they just dropped a couple updates and left it at that.

The Frog Suit is updated in the game. I just remember to use Frog Suits in Super Mario Bros. 3 style, while the Super Leaf is used only.

Wait... Pit, Dark Pit, and Palutena appear, but not Viridi!? Does that mean there isn’t an Amiibo for her!? Wow. That’s sad... hopefully, she’ll get one in the future, so that if an update for Super Mario Maker 2 reintroduces Amiibo Costumes, we’ll get to play as her. We at least need that, since she’s not in Smash yet. (And I mean as a PLAYABLE character. She appears, but not as a fighter.)

Just look at all of this wasted potential. Even if they didn’t want to add all of them, they still could of added Samus (and zero suit) and Kirby. Seeing a custom character move set for them would be cool, but those two are the only ones I would really like to see
