Everyone's talking about how Peach rejected Mario and almost stranded him on the moon. But why don't we talk about how Bowser chose to invite random strangers over his own minions to his wedding? Heck. He didn't even invite his only son!
Huh, now that I think about it..m it's a bit strange, especially for someone that read the "super Mario adventures" comics, where bowser has the same goal and he literally threw a party with a cake larger than a castle and invited literally every single one of his minions to witness it. Kinda weird Nintendo did that but I guess they wanted you to see familiar faces instead of bowser minions.

I totally love the area where you capture Bowser as you make your way out to save the princess! In a main core Super Mario game, we get to play as Bowser!

Am I the only one who noticed Bowser shrunk like crazy? He was like a tower over Mario through the game game but now he's like shorter than Peach in the ending? Lol.
Yeah, his size always seems to increase with every 3d mario game, in 64 he was a bit larger than Mario, in Sunshine, he was a lot larger, In Galaxy 1 and 2, he was absolutely MASSIVE, 3d Land and World he shrunk down a tiny bit, and in Oddyssy he's back to being ginormous. The Mario Party games again seem to be inconsistent with size, with Mario Party 10 having Bowser being GIGANTIC, the Kart and sports games always have Bowser roughly the same size
Bowser grows when he's angry. By the end, he's had the stuffins knocked out of him, he's been knocked down a few pegs, and various other cliches for how he's pretty much done with all this and just wants to go home.
i feel like everyone is getting the ending wrong as there is still a romance between Mario and Peach, my proof? Well peach has been dragged around the world for god knows how many days this game takes place so i imagine after all this she just wanted to go home. Mario and Bowser fighting over her didn't help as something like this has never happened to her before, she seemed frustrated with all of this and lashed out. Once she gets onto the Odyssey you can see her take a deep breath to calm down. And if she didn't care for Mario or Bowser why would she call out to them before the ship was too far away. Remember there were moon physics, also Bower must have still had his ship there so there was no harm leaving him. She may not be the smartest person ever but she's not a complete idiot.
How are people mad because Peach told them both no, She just had the worst unwanted wedding ever, they were both trying to force her into choosing one, and she didn't even want to be married in the first place. You can't force your wants on a character, if she doesn't want it she doesn't want it, and Mario is a true hero for saving her nonetheless.

Super Waluigi X, in a way he was as soon as Bowser interrupted he could have backed down and tried after she rejected him alone, but he doesn't he tries to force his way in to beat out Bowser. So of course after all of that she just says no. I mean look at what she just went through, why the hell would Peach even want to discuss marriage to anyone at that time, wth would Mario even attempt to propose. I don't care if they ever get together in the end but I do care that its done in a way that makes sense. It also doesn't make sense that everyone calls her a Bitch for doing what anyone would do in the same situation.

I love this boss battle! At first it looked like it is quite challenging, but after I played it myself I enjoyed it so much. The trick here is that it looks super intense, but actually it isn’t a hard boss battle. And this time that’s not even a bad thing! It’s just fun to play and you’ll feel that epic intense moment. And I love how the boss battle isn’t the final thing but a trying to escape a falling apart planet is. That’s something original in the Mario series and it’s awesome. I hope this changes the way how future Mario games will end
I know this is a very old comment but I have to add that this was done in 98 in Ocarina of time. Final battle with Ganon ends with escaping crumbling hyrule castle. actually I noticed many similarities between this game and older Zelda games. the theme in the water before you unplug the fountains is the theme from Majoras mask, and the moon theme sounds very similar to the Ice cavern levels in ocarina of time. of course it's all Nintendo. cheers :)

NoirRaven and btw, Mario shows clear support for his brother, was always declared as the hero of the mushroom kingdom, and most of the "innocent creatures" literally work for bowser to try and stop him

The goombas (idk how to write it) are just working may be they have a family and all xD bref (idk how to say that in English) don't blame the Bowser's assistants because they do their job :c (sorry if my english is bad it's not my native language)
I honestly liked this game for the sheer amount of personality they gave Mario. Normally he's generally a flat character but here they let him on his own accord tie the knot with Peach!...Well, tried to anyway: that build up prior to Bowser cockblocking him was great. Still, this was a mainstream game rather than a side one or another developed by a sorta 3D party! That's a major setup!
Honestly I didn't care for Mario as a character until now with this game and Kingdom Battle, he is so animated and has some personality. It's baffling how The Legend of Zelda took a step back in personality with Link in Breath of the Wild (save for one or two moments) while Mario took a step forward in Odyssey.
She did say "enough." She didn't decline. She just REFUSED to make a lifetime decision under duress without a chance to de-stress and weigh her options.
So Mario travel the entire planet chasing Bowser down battling countless foes and overcoming numerous obsticals in order to save Peach from being traped in marriage to an evil dictator, and even goes to the freaking moon and tears his way through it in order to save all three of them, and when it's all over and Mario feels that after 30 years of chasing and saving Peach it's time to confess his feelings and........Peach friendzones him......and nearly strands him on the moon. Is there an option to go back to Pauline?

Did that cop save your rear end on a daily basis for 30 years straight? Did he scavenge the entire planet and beyond to make sure you were safe because he cares that much? Did that cop fight off an uber powrful turtle dictator for you? Did that Cop even ask for anything once he saved you all thoses times? No, then don't you think you could at keast have the decency to accept his dang flower and not hijack his car? Mario didn't exactly pull a wedding ring on her.

Dening them wasn't Peach in the wrong, she DIDN'T want to choose after what she saw what thise two were doing. Yeah she almost stranded'em but come on. Mario jumps high already, and at that they were on the moon; Thus boosting the jump. Besides... Do you REALLY think Peach was really gonna strand Mario? In the end, Mario may have been friendzoned, but he's still happy she's safe.

With said, Tiara are dancing as they saw each other, and as the brother and sister saw each other, Mario immediately comes to Peach, and Cappy and Tiara are gonna watch Peach and Mario get married. While Mario was about to marry Peach, Bowser got up from being unconscious, and knocks Mario down, and he offered Peach a bouquet of Piranha Plants. And Mario came to Peach and he offered Peach a Rocket Flowers. Just for that, Mario and Bowser simultaneously forces Peach to marry both of them. And they mistakenly overwhelm her, by shoving them up in her face by accident. Who cares what you think? Dry Clayton IS Bowser’s arch-rival, arch-ally to Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad, and Dry Bowser’s clone, you know? But the REGULAR Dry Bowser’s still with Bowser, though.
Mario didn't do it because of what Peach would have to do if he did. He did it because of what she would be forced to do if he did not. Because Mario is a hero.
K. Mario didn't save Peach because he thought he could benefit from saving her (although he certainly would have liked that). He saved Peach because helping people is what heroes do, and Mario is a hero.
I'll be honest. There are few villains I'd trust more with the infinity gauntlet. Unlike most villains Bowser doesn't really kill indiscriminately. If you're not in his way he won't stop to hurt you.
For some reason the wedding thing keeps reminding me of the super Mario anime movie. (U know in the movie how peach gets forced to marriage and Mario and Luigi try to save Peach)

Bowser's size is based heavily on his emotional state. The more angry and excited he is the bigger he gets. He loves fighting Mario so he's always big for that. Mario kept him in the zone to save Peach, but now the adventure is over, he's knackered, tank's empty, he badly needs a rest, so he's smaller again..

@@gamerbro8399 Yeah. I basically like how they team up in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I never played the 3DS and Wii U versions, but I hope to play those soon, but that's not what I'm trying to say. I played the Wii version because that's what I had back in the day. Anyway, the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. make a great team with Bowser as bosses in the game.

@@gamerbro8399 I always keep the data, and even then, I always enjoy the bosses, though some are stupid easy. But the final Bowser battle in that game is the best in the entire New Super Mario Bros. series! I fell for the trick that Magikoopa pulled on Mario, disguised as Princess Peach, then I least expected that Bowser came back as FREAKING GODZILLA!! That's where those twists came, and it's so enthralling just playing it! When I saw the real princess, I hit the real switch, then Bowser was finished! (at least till next time we fight him, possibly in Super Mario Galaxy 2) My grandma then gave me an award for defeating Bowser!
