Definitely one of the best boss battles in the game if not the best. The music, the surroundings, that big machine with the broodals in it, it's a good battle

Best death scene ever... the pained faces in the fireworks is amazing.

This is my favorite fight in the game in terms of atmosphere. Bowser just revealed to you that not only are his wedding plans complete and everything's in order, but that he's going all the way to the moon to have it. Then he kicked the shit out of you after you tried to stop him from leaving. Then, while you're wallowing in your newfound defeat, this giant ass robot comes out with all of the Broodals in it, clearly meant to make sure you don't leave. The fireworks going off everywhere makes it feel super chaotic, the music is amazing, and it really feels personal with the Broodals this time, whereas at the beginning of the game it felt more like they were just hired to stop you. The fireworks, the music, and the sense of urgency to hurry up and beat this thing so you can maybe catch Bowser before it's too late give it a great chaotic element and I love it.

I swear I heard that Green rabbid impersonator say "Go to Hell!" Great fight, and definitely challenging.

By far one of the more intense battles. The mechanics are pretty amazing, and it really puts you on edge. When we talk abouy difficulty, it's pretty base. You run and hit bombs. It makes up for difficulty in intimidation. The attack where it charges at you is decently scary if you don't time your running good enough, and the arena is stunning. The Dark Side version isn't any different; it's just harder and more amazing.

I'm on my first playthrough. I did this battle yesterday. I love how a small flightless bird was able to take down something so big.

I didn't know you could break the dome with Pokio. I thought you had to exit out of it and ground pound the domes. Made the boss fight a lot harder.

I think there was a meaning to this fight, I found very poetic the fact that a small bird (warm flesh of nature) has to defeat a giant mecha of destruction (cold steel, gears and fire) plus the music and the colors... Mario Odyssey is a very artistic game after all :)

This was the best boss in the whole game. The bowser fight was just a little bit too easy, but this was perfect.

Odyssey has such good boss fights and this one is definitely one of my favorite bosses to fight in the game.

This is the best boss in the game, here's why The problem with most of this game to the average grown or mature person (not a child) is that it was either way obvious for what's about to come next or you've already accidentally seen so many clips of this game bc it was so popular So you knew about the kingdoms already and so when you saw a word named "Bowser's Kingdom" you were like aww so we're fighting Bowser here.. So you climb to the top and make it all the way only for Bowser to knock you back down, and WHERE did this boss come from?? But you don't have time to think about that, you have to beat this boss quickly and go catch Bowser So, as the fight is going on the absorbent theme is playing along with chaotic fireworks in the background, TALK ABOUT an atmosphere

I love the part when all the Broodals explode into fireworks and their faces are shown as the fireworks

Fun fact: When the RoboBrood’s leg vents open up (2:05), Pokio-Mario can use them to climb up its body.

Let me just say, this boss fight was an amazing way to cap off Bowser’s Kingdom! Pun absolutely intended!

The battle music reminds me a little bit of Mario 2 in certain ways. It was, in fact, written by Koji Kondo.

The Broodals weren’t messing around this time.

Easily one of the hardest boss battles in the game. a) you have to fight him with one of the most finnicky controls in the entire game b) you have to beat it to progress to the next kingdom c) spawns homing rings of death that chase after you while you concentrate on launching the bombs into his legs d) can fall on you. I died just before i was about to beat him because it fell on me. e) the rainbow legs. nuff said

This battle was absolutely incredible. I felt so cool spearing and launching myself up the airship body, and I was so scared when it uses the starman power to make it's legs invincible!!

Thank you for posting this, I thought I had to climb the mecha as mario by himself. I was pissed at the third phase of this boss before I finally broke in and looked this up. it didn't even occur to me to use the pokio to climb the machine. (personally I would have called pokios cheep chirps (their wings look a lot like cheep cheep wings. that's my nickname for them anyway.))

I didn't know you were supposed to stab them through the glass. I just ground pounded them once I was at the top

The engineering quality of this mech is impressive. Those little glass bulbs can handle the impact and weight of the mech in its entirety falling onto it, and it can somehow pick itself up back to a standing position with a single leg.

Jokes aside, this is my favorite boss in Mario Odyssey, besides Bowser! It combines all four bunnies (Broodals) into one, and it is simply incredible! The music fits perfectly with this fight!
