The last truly amazing Mario game I can remember is Galaxy 1, but this is the most excited I've been about a Mario game since Sunshine. That's 15 YEARS.

I loved you saying "No more that 3D World Nonsence"! Thats exactly what i was feeling watching back in 2017. I was so feared that classic 3D Mario Games are gone forever. 3D Land and 3D Word were fun but they are both so much worse than classic 3D Mario Games like 64, Sunshine, Galaxy 1, Galaxy 2 and Odyssey.

Not having this as a launch title is actually a good idea. If they were released at the same time, both games would cannibalize each other in sales, and neither title would be as successful as they would have been if they had been at different times. They need to space their big releases out, and honestly, Nintendo owes us with Breath of the Wild, we already missed out on an entire console generation with the Wii U.
