Meanwhile, the sun is 6,000 kelvins (10,340 degrees Fahrenheit), meaning that lightning is about 5 times hotter than the sun. The Ruined Kingdom dragon has been shown CHARGING up that lightning, so that bolt that they fired off may even be well hotter than 30,000 kelvins. And Mario and Cappy took it like one would a electric joybuzzer; effective, but still unharmed by it. Now for the Ruined Dragon itself; a beast easily dwarfing Mario in size, using lightning for his attacks. A beast that has brought a entire kingdom to its knees. Mario is able to dodge lightning like it is nothing, and ground pound his head, carving it in. 235 kg (520 pounds) or 2,300 newtons of force would be needed to crush a human skull. Considering that this is a dragon that is even his MOUTH is bigger than Mario, it’s safe to say that Mario’s ground pounds have about even MORE power, perhaps even 10 times more than it takes to crush a human skull in. TL;DR: Mario fought a beast that razed a entire kingdom to ruins, could shoot lightning that is way hotter than the sun, survived being blasted by said lightning, and carved his head in and won. Kirby, you may have some serious competition in the future...
