I love the part when Mario and Petey look left and right when the roof cracks the first time, then when it cracks again, they lower their heads to look at the crack, then slowly look at each other. So cartoon-like.
I remember playing this when I was like 9 and my little sister was 6. She would always love watching me play this, but I couldn't figure out how to beat him. She's like "What if you squirt water in his mouth when he's about to barf?" I'm like "noo look how big he is, water won't do anything. Besides plants love water." she ended up being right hahaha
Petey Piranha:Rawrr!!!!!! *Floor Breaks Little* Mario And Piranha:? ._. *Floor Breaks More* Mario And Piranha:Uh Oh o.o *Mario And Piranha Falls* *And The Battle Starts*
Fun fact: The GameCube was just as powerful as the old Xbox, and way more powerful than the PS2. It's just hardly any game developers wanted to spend time making it graphically better than the rest so alot of GameCube games look kinda average (look at most games made by EA for instance)
Wow, that explains why the graphics are so exceptional, especially for the time. Glad I managed to get one through some generosity (and someone's kid not enjoying the console themselves...)
Super Mario Sunshine, the best super mario game yet... :') Oh! I can't even finish it and I have it, since 2003... :$ Thumbs up if you think it's the best! :D
2:12 is the best part. Love how they both slowly look up at eachother. This game had so much character and style. I love all the new ones, Galaxy is great, but I'd still love to see a sequel to this one at some point. Anythings possible. Luigi's Mansion got a sequel after eleven years.
Ahh, I remember the good days, when we were on vacation and they had this in the hotel. My sister tried to play this very game, and neither of us had played a Mario game yet, and we got so confused! XD Good times.
From the Wikipedia page for Water Cure: Water cure is a form of torture in which the victim is forced to drink large quantities of water in a short time, resulting in gastric distension, water intoxication, and possibly death. Often the victim has the mouth forced or wedged open, the nose closed with pincers and a funnel or strip of cloth forced down the throat. The victim has to drink all the water (or other liquids such as bile or urine) poured into the funnel to avoid drowning. The stomach fills until near bursting, swelling up in the process and is sometimes beaten until the victim vomits and the torture begins again. __________________________ Damn Mario is one sadistic bastard.
a breakdown of enemies in SMS: 1. can it be killed by water? if no, go to step 2. if yes, go to step 4 2. can it be killed by jumping/punching it (fence)? if no, go to step 3. if yes go to step 4 3. can it be killed by grabbing things (fruit, tentacles, etc.)? if no, go to step 5. if yes go to step 4 4. it can be killed 5. its invincible
WOW I LOVED this games! I got a gamecube right when this game came out when I was in 5th grade, such a fun game and so many good memories when my friends and I played it.....I'm in college now it's just fun to remember the good times. Time flies fast, too fast.
The GameCube is the most underrated nintendo console, I mean it had the perfect mix of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero, Star Fox and new IPs. And it was the system in which they innovated their franchises in every possible way. (Metroid Prime, Mario Kart DD, Wind Waker, etcetera.)
At the windmill part *The roof starts cracking.* Petey: Marioooo is that me or you? Mario: I think that's you Petey. Petey Piranha:Damn it! *Roof breaks apart.*
this game is so good. It's the hardcore Mario challenge we're all craving for inside.. To anyone who hasn't had the pelasure, I implore you to play through this game. Ignore the haters. Sunshine is a spectacular game and a rarity amongst today's 'dumbed down' experiences, especially those from Nintendo.
Thumbs up if this Game needs a sequel and I don't mean Galaxy, I mean like the one Galaxy got, a new Mario sunshine with fludd a tropical paradise and everything.
@Thetorque665 Ironically it makes me feel old that enough time has passed that people who now are young adults were kids when they played a game I played when I was in college. But it shows that all generations of gamers love Mario. I played a lot of Mario games as a kid (Super Mario Bros series, Super Mario Land, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island) and I'm glad Nintendo didn't kill off their mascot like other gaming companies would do so future generations still have Mario in their childhood.
i remember fighting petey at a gamestore demo stand. i lost, but seriously there were 20 of those goop monsters at once. someone else screwed up mario`s power gauge so i was doomeed :(. good game, i got a used copy for my wii last month. don`t laugh at me, i was 7
