@kidbrown2010: I mean, I would expect people who play music to have opinions about how music sounds. I don't even know how I would start to be surprised by that, but I guess I'll try to learn how or learn morality or something. It's nice that she reveals said opinions, but that's more of a good presenting choice than an insanely hard-working brain. I would think that the playing itself would relate much more to that kind of thing if anything.

The Rachmaninoff immediately doubled my heart rate ❤❤❤ He was the first classical Composer I actively listened to. This mans 3rd PC singlehandedly converted me from Punk Rock Teen to music nerd 😂 Now I play the Cello and Piano additionally to my drums and guitar 😊

I always love your "in the style of" videos because literally no one does it better than you. you understand the composers and their styles better than others who do these kinds of videos. a lot of times when other people do "in the style of" videos they'll just mash up a famous piece with the theme instead of actually incorporating their style.

I agree with you.. except one other person. Dudley More. He really had a sense of composers style. For example Beethoven. Dudley was really the master. But he is long gone. - You should check him out if you haven't. You will probably like his take on Beethoven.

I like that these covers are more than just the composers' own pieces with a melody thrown on top; you actually put yourself out there as a composer and write something pretty much totally new that resembles the composers' style without copying something they've already written which is so impressive

Your descriptions of what it is that you're doing are so incredibly helpful. I can hear the style and recognize that it sounds like a certain composer, but I can't put into words what it is. To see your notes describing in words the sounds I'm hearing have helped so much in my understanding and studying of classical composers! I love it. Please keep making more of these!!!!!

Such cool insights on what kind of voice each Composer had. With the original version by Koji Kondo, it's remarkable what he could do with the physical and technical limitations of the NES. In the end, he created some of the most iconic and memorable pieces in Pop Culture.

This format is SOO COOL! You absolutely nail each composer's style, and the text on screen gives a insight into your approach for writing these arrangements. That alone is very enjoyable, but the fact that you don't talk makes this viable for relistening just for the variations. Which I most definetely will!

@@NahreSol Bob-omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64, Still Alive from Portal. Anything the 8 Bit Big Band has covered, really. The latter might be to long to do variations on, but you could for example switch style for each section of the piece, maybe?

As a classically trained piano student, I appreciate all the annotations. My teacher was in her 80s and taught for over 60 years. She would always explain phrases, sections and composer style with descriptive words that made each peace have more personality. Thank you!

As a reasonable pianist and classical music lover, I've also spent quite a few hours in my life playing Mario Brothers! This was a joy to listen to and the understanding of each of the composers style and the ability to rework the theme is quite brilliant. Your skill goes above that of us mere mortals!

I think the Beethoven one is my favorite. So many people are quick to just rewrite the theme in a minor key and dramatize it to the extreme, but I really appreciate the true depth you put behind it. It has so much Waldstein energy and the virtuosic prowess of his piano writing shines through. Thanks, Nahre!

I loved the Liszt one! It should be the theme for hard mode, which is impressive and intimidating, but also very enjoyable to look at when my sister (who played video games since she was 5 years old) sits behind the controller.

I want to love this, but it's hard to get past the fact that the original tune begins C G E A B B flat A, not C G E A B A A flat! Interesting that you gravitated back there with the Gershwin - which makes sense as it's a jazzy sort of passing note in the first place.

So many of these "in the style of.." videos just basically superimpose the melody onto a known composition of the composer (e.g. Super Mario theme that sounds strikingly similar to, say, Fur Elise). I absolutely LOVE the fact that you didn't do that, and that you really came up with unique variations that truly captured each composer's style without copying their known melodies.
