I mean the brakes cooling system rely on having huge airflow through them to cool off So the faster he drives the faster they cool off (also why they have blowing machines everytime they stop because the brakes cannot cool down)

You can't pit a Merc against a McLaren. Put Lando in a similar merc and we'll see. Lando driving reactions and intuitions are much better than Hamilton's.
@@tacitus5665 ya I’ve noticed that too. Stroll may just need that strong voice to ‘wheel’ him in sometimes. People need to understand that if stroll didn’t like him he wouldn’t be there.
@@cathalfolan8441 limited budget and big changes next year. It's put mostly all money into new chassis for 2022 or be forced out of F1. Just gotta make do.
@@shivasurya7008 traffic is a thing especially in those conditions where people like gasly went slower on the wets and hold up all following cars on inters, also hamilton is particularly fast in wet conditions
Think it is a classic case of hamilton pretending to be the underdog. Considering the weekend overall I think merc had the faster car (ignoring bottas because he had a total off weekend)
@@dylanarnold5010 The signs are ominous. Mercedes look like they've got on top of the glitches and will get faster, it remains to be seen how much more Red Bull can improve. Slightly ahead now, 10 races in, my money is on Mercs and Hamilton.

I admire his mental composure during that. Many other drivers would’ve panicked and pressed the throttle hard and beached themselves. Or they would just stop the car and get out! But Lewis Hamilton persevered, he never gave up- and made a great recovery to P2! What a legend. 👏
