Here are some levels I made for this game a long time ago, and as the title implies, it's the dark world of cotton alley remixed to be a lot harder!
They're even harder than they may seem, trust me. I died about 700+ times in total when recording, so yeah. Levels 19 and 20 are probably my favorites, as I made them almost entirely from scratch.

these are some very well made and very difficult levels, finally i have beat them all after a ton of trying, i am making a super dark version of the forest but i am having trouble finding crumble blocks for level 9, if you would be nice enough to tell me how to place them iwould appreciate it, good job :)

around 7:00 i think you can cheat by going above the "cage" and doing a big jump over the saws ;p

(4 months later...) It looks like it but apparently this is the border of the level so the place is surrounded by invisible walls, so you can't cheat it :P

My favorite has to be spring of fox, It was the only one that made me go woah.Exceptional play though, of course those levels require it

Thanks! Look for "Forest ultimate" in super meat world for more inspiration. I made them recently, haven't fully recorded the chapter for youtube yet but will soon.

These levels really do look incredibly awesome, in a terrible, horribly wrong way :D I'd certainly give them a shot, and by giving them a shot I mean die a lot - a LOT - and rage quitting. By the way, typical RU-vid question: What's the name of the second music track? It's pretty sweet :)

yeah i agree with you. This incredible difficult level its cool, when you finish one you feel like a god of hard games.. I like to see this levels, but i like more play medium level

Im making a fanmade world 8 in gdps editor 2.2 (dont ask) and the levels are: 8-1: The Orb 8-1X: Blackout 8-2: Coggy 8-2X: Freakshow 8-3: Deathly 8-3X: Backstab (World 8 is a city, 8-1 and 8-1X take place in a city 8-2 and 8-2X take place in a factory and 8-3 and 8-3X take place in a forest)

I didn't, they're played through the level editor. Super Meat World has been down for a long time now, and will likely never be back up. The level files are located in the "Levels" folder of your steam files.

I know it's a late reply, but i found somewhere that Tommy Refenes is working on an uptade to SMB for PC which will let you change the soundtrack (danny b and 5th ann. so dont worry) and will fix meat world. Release: probably after SMB forever. Update: IT'S UP!!!

This levels are so ingenious and incredible! My personal favorites are For Justice, Krokodil, Phantasmagoria, Spring of Fox, and Welcome to Die. It's a Shame that the Concept of Ah Puch was ruined and Screamer, sorry to say, just kinda sucks.

+Sparxe Nico Since super meat world is long dead, you'll have to load the individual level files through the editor to play them. I might have the files somewhere, so I can probably send them to you if you're seriously crazy enough to want to try them.

+Etalify Yes please, if it's not too much trouble. I know how to open the level editor and play custom levels in it, so that shouldn't be a problem. But yeah, I'd like to try to beat this.

Cause alligators are close relatives of crocodiles,cotton alley light and dark both had tea (light) and coffee (dark) Gatorade is stronger than coffee following the pattern and the water was green

Actually, the level is named after the illicitly produced version of the synthetic opioid desomorphine, commonly known as krokodil. The adverse effects of the drug are so devastating that they often lead to limb amputation. And that is definitely stronger than coffee, too.
