@DurrpyProductions EXACTLY. holy shit. although it was much easier on the light world side, 4-8 was still the trickiest for me. and gaaah i just beat 4-8X ... it was so annoying. i actually managed to do it with meatboy with perfect timing after many tries ... :p i just need 4-20X, and your video was helpful. i was thinking about using the kid. thank you ! all of your videos are amazing, by the way !
@DurrpyProductions Actually, using Gish's ceiling-stick ability makes the level incredibly easy, along with Tim's time-reverse becoming insanely helpful with 4-13X
This is exactly why I looked for this video. I'm doing it with meat boy since I haven't bothered with collecting bandages. On occasion I get past the little lava pit and over the two fireballs but I always run into a fireball on the ledge above. I've been trying the same level for an hour now. I have the worst arthritis cause of this fuckass game.
You sure like to use the kid. I actually enjoy the challenge, and I'm completing every level with meat boy first. The cheat characters are for hard to get bandages and extreme speed runs, imo.
@Sargatanas7 Is it cheating if the developer put them in and permitted achievements to be won with them? (Answer is "Yes on certain levels, if character in question is Captain Viridian.")
I dont understand why people is sooo crazy about The Kid, i mean, Ogmo is exactly the same. So here is mah question: what is (in your opinion) the differences between Ogmo and The Kid
i never played the game, but i followed a livestream of someone who finished it. why are the levels not in sequence? like one time you're in 4-3, the next one become 4-5, not 4-4.
@splice42 Meat boy is nice and fast, and is better imo than the kid for a few levels. I'd probably use the kid if I had unlocked him myself, but I tend to use naija. She can be much faster than meat boy or the kid in some cases, and NO ONE can scale vertical walls or ceilings faster
Every Dark world, from 3-5 is complete butt-fuck...cotton alley is "easier" ONLY cause you expect "surprise-butt-seks" in every level...that said, this is Damn good game but, God did Dark world kick my ass.
@demoniccurses9 I got the kid now bro. I wasn't saying it is impossible to beat it without the kid, I was mad that he unlocked the kid, because it's hard to unlock him. In case you were curious, I beat the game 104%, you don't gotta tell nothin' to me.
