Super Meteor 650 Owner Review | Mileage,Heating,Pros,Cons 

This guy represents almost exactly who the bike was made for, not chasing girls, settled in life and now cares about comfort and de-stressing while riding. Sometimes driving and riding my vehicle is the only time I get without any stress. Essentially not a boy but a man.

Owner knows his bike quite well.

Regarding mileage, i got around 25 average on highways on a 700km ride. I know this for sure, as i filled up the tank, and after about 392 km, the bike stopped midway on the road with two bars still left on the fuel guage (Thanks royal enfield, you made me meet my one weeks excercise quota in a day, 240kg dead push for about a km) while in bangalore city with above average traffic i get from 19 to 22. (i turn off ignition if timer is more than 25 second) and yes, the rear suspension is definitely not the best, you can easily feel how some section of a good looking road are very bad, sm650 amplifies the road condition, if the road is good the ride is specially good, and if its even slightly bad, it again multiplies the badness.

Charging port is inside to avoid dust and water seepage in rains.. that way your accessories quality determines everything..

My SM 650 gives 28-32 Kmpl after the first service...the lowest mileage recorded was 19 kmpl. People complaining about the suspension, well adjust it to point 3. It come with soft suspension but if you change it to 3 you will feel the difference. Never change the exhaust, it's a cruiser and over a period of time with carbon accumulation it will get bassy... Just change the filter to DNA or Way 2 SPEED... Braking... No issues... 2500 done and no issues with break pads or chain sprocket. Please note - It a cruiser not a interceptor or cafe racer... Absolutely correct. Leg Guard and Sump Guard are the most essential accessories. No one should think of taking delivery of bike without these two installed. Rest everything is personal choice

I just want to throw a piece of advice according to my point of view i.e., the ground clearance. If the ground clearance is little bit higher than this it will be a perfect bike I feel a bit hard to manage in a village road cos of the ground clearance

Exact same mileage . Maine 2500(109 is petrol price ) ka dalwaya he till 1st service and 458 chali he . Average came 20. I'll calculate till 5000 km like this only

I have very bad exp. On first day of super meteor 650. after bike pickup within 20 km.of ride bike broke down. Worst part service center dont have issue part to be replace .. Alter net solution is Service center took part from test drive bike and fix to my bike. .. I have been asked to wait almost 1 month for part replacement ..I cant drive bike that has default part..what a service

i had taken 2 km test ride, ride was comfortable but my right thai was almost heated due engine overheat surprisingly even 100 cc splendor also not heat so much. when i complaint to dealer his face was small ironically giving reason its a 650 cc engine will heat.
