I'm currently wondering this same question. What I do know is that the super mini claw from candymachines.com is made in China, at a similar factory to rainys machines. I still think that the super mini crane from candymachines is probably a little bit better since it was designed by candymachines and is fcc approved. But it's not that much better from the mega minis. If you're trying to figure out which machine to purchase, this is what I suggest. I would order the super mini crane from candymachines if you need 2 or fewer machines and can drive to the candymachines warehouse to avoid shipping. If you need 3 or more machines, I would order all of them at once from Rainy. This lowers shipping costs and gets you a better deal on the machines. Hope this helps :)

We give 30% commission to most of our locations. We have 1 location that we have 5 machines in. We give them a 40% cut. Its 30% profit share. Basically, we figure out how much revenue the machines made, then check to see how many prizes were won. We subtract the prizes won, then pay them 30% of what's left after that. So if we made $100, and customers won 20 ducks. Each duck is $0.50, so $10 in prize cost which means we pay them $27. I hope that makes sense!

It was $900. I bought it with a discount. I drove to their warehouse and picked it up, so I didn't pay any shipping.

I haven't played one yet, but I've heard their a little better.

It refers to the amount of directions a joystick can be pushed in. The standard is usually a 4 way. The downside to a 4 way is that you cant usually move the claw diagonal. The 8 way joystick gives you the option to move diagonal.

Yea, they do pretty decent. I'm gunna have to steal your idea of wrapping money around the ducks if you don't mind. Very smart! I do that with my big plushie claws, but it never crossed my mind to do that with ducks.

Yep, I totally agree. We are currently testing the waters at the location. The plan is to relocate one of the claw machines. And to put better product in the machine that stays there. I'm sure that once that's done, it'll make 80-120 per month. Thanks for you input!
