My Minimal Go-To Makeup
Over the years, I’ve really learned how to love my natural skin and let it be the focus when doing lighter makeup. I wanted to share with you some of my recent makeup go-to products when I want my skin to be the highlight and the rest of the makeup to help enhance my features. Looks gorgeous I’m so excited that since the pandemic toning down nails hair and make up has been “in style. As a chronically ill person with Sjogren’s and severe severe migraines that have really stopped me in my tracks I’ve been trying to stay gorgeous but cut time and corners out of my beauty and make up. I’ve been doing the minimal dewy fresh face glowy Make up look and also been cutting my own hair at home and actually grew my own nails out with OPI and the nail hardner and painting my nails really chic neutral shades and I feel as glamorous and dolled up and loving that you can look great with half the effort with the right products

I love this. I prefer minimal and natural makeup bc doing otherwise interferes with other things for me (sunscreen, skincare, and takes too long in the morning). My goal is to be able to do a “full face” of natural makeup in 3 mins. Idk if it’s realistic...Currently record is 6 but we’ll get there

You look beautiful as always. When I saw the heading for this video '"super minimal go to make up" I thought you where going to the bare minimum, to get the natural look. That was a lot of steps for minimal look. 😁

Can you list out the products you use for this look? I tried to write them done during the video but I'm not sure I was able to get them all. I'm trying to use the minimal make-up look with working from home. I only have video meetings twice a week and this will be great to try out for those days!

Been wanting to try that spf for a minute : I always forget to go to Sephora . I usually stick my my Lancôme spf / moisturizer. Maybe I’ll try that one soon.

I bought Mad Hippie's Vitamin A serum recently and it gets rid of all dry skin. I got it on Amazon for $26. Give it a try. It is a night serum but it makes my face feel like a baby's butt! I love this stuff.

To me if I wanted to go extremely minimal I would definitely do my skin care separate (not counting that as make up) - But very minimal make up to me means concealer to cover spots, mascara, lip product of choice and a little bronzer or blush to warm the skin up maybe if you wanna get crazy ☀️☀️❤️ tinted cc or BB cream/moisturizer- that to me is the really stripped down version . But some gals can totally get away with just mascara a touch of blush and lipstick I guess it depends on each persons! however prefer a little bit more product if I’m being honest But nowhere near 2015/2016 heavy make up! I watch everytime and still I can not get it right I am doomed to be bare faced... I maybe need to embrace it the same as I did my grey hair but heck if I get make put on by girls, at make up counter it looks so pretty.

Love your look and your skin is so beautiful. Just be careful with that first step of AHA you should definitely double up on the amount of SPF or else you will end up like me and get slot of sun spots..

I totally agree with you, they never seem to apply the correct amount of sunscreen and then if they’re still around in years to come they’ll be complaining about all the sun damage from not using the correct amount when they were younger, she has skin of a 30 year old But that can change over the years if she’s not careful!!! Most of us had skin like that back when we were in our 30’s, I know that I did. I’m now @62 years young.

@@-nellie-m3711 Yes and I feel like now we are so well informed in regards to SPF. I'm born in the 70's and we used to wear SPF 4 or 8 those days..I never go a day without my SPF50 well applied. That's the one thing I would correct if I was going back in time. I would say to my young self, wear SPF and a hat ;-)

@@melaniesenecal7153 same here, I grew up in the 60’s and sunscreen wasn’t such a thing back then But now it’s everything, SPF here is a lot higher than over in the USA 🇺🇸, your SPF 50+ is only equivalent to about an SPF 20-30 here, our standards for sunscreen is very high in Australia 🇦🇺 especially with the ingredients that go into them, we have lots of commercials on tv about the importance of wearing sunscreen SPF 50+ because of our harsh summer months, we have more summer months here than winter months, sunscreen is the last step in my skincare routine all year round. 🥰🥰

@@melaniesenecal7153 I grew up in the 80's back then there were commercials for tanning lotions. The one I remember was "Bain de Soleil". If you wanted a beautiful tan that was the product to use.

Nice makeup look for someone still so young, no wrinkles or fine lines and I wouldn’t expect her to at her age, some of us have to remember what our skin looked like when we were 30 years old/young, I know for me, I hardly ever wore makeup back then and I think it’s helped my skin now I’m in my 60’s, I never had pores to clog up my skin, the only thing I struggle with now is some age spots that come from ageing gracefully and smile lines from Smiling a lot, I’d be wearing a lot more sunscreen that she applied that’s for sure especially at her age, it might not show up now but it will when she gets older…..

Lashes: what eye growth serum u use doll? This is the look us older ladies need!! Less is more youthful. Always hated too much eyeshadow.. looks like porn women. I suggest you do lower face excersises your full checks will drop at my age. Face posture helps too .. BTW, look at the bathroom your channel bought. Wow.
