Thanks to the Brawl hacking community, I can now extract DSPs, brstms, and more from my Gamecube collection. This is a piece from one of my favorite Gamecube games - Super Monkey Ball 2.
I too remember when I was young. I used to watch my older siblings play this game, especially my older sister. I am the youngest of 4 kids, although I am 18 now. I miss having everyone home and spending time together, because I took it for granted when I was young. Now, everyone is either moved out, with me soon to be as well, or works so much I don't see them. We have our memories, and we will get to live them again one day, I hope. I'm sorry for your loss, I couldn't imagine losing a sibling. Take care.
I'm very sorry for your loss. In difficult times like these, I find the scripture at John 5:28, 29 to be very comforting, where it tells us that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear God's voice and come out." Revelation 21:4 also promises us that God will "wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." We have a Biblical hope of seeing our loved ones again in the future, and we will never have to worry about losing them again. Jw.org talks more about our hope for the future, I hope it can bring some comfort to your family. I send my deepest condolences.
Carson Jones Its more Japanese music than anything: the stage itself looks like a japanese garden complete with pond and everything, and the asian instrument you hear from time to time is called Koto
Same. The colors in this world are good too. So peaceful yet so hard the first time 🤣 I think my least favorite is world 9. But I do respect the challenge there.
I believe it's world 10 in the story mode that drove me to insanity. I think I saw my sisters architecture project spinning in one and I still don't know how I passed the invisible course
I mean... level does take place on top of a washing machine... and features a lot of Japanese imagery... and is made by a Japanese company... I think that's more or less what they were going for?
The year is 2004. Your grandma picked you up from school and wants to stop at JCPenny before you get home. Afterwards, you convince her to let you play a few games at the arcade. She obliges, but when you both go in, nobody is there. It's a cool place, its dark, and the patterns on the floor glow brightly in the dark. Every game rings out some attention-grabbing tune in a rich chorus. This place is fun! So...why isn't anybody here?
Because everyone was on an at home console. That arcade would be out of business by 2014 if it wasn't already by 2004. Maybe in Japan it would still be around.
Think of a super monkey ball reality were you can play super monkey ball story mode with 3 other buddies simultaneously But we all know that's not gonna come true😭
i think thats coincidental, i mean it did save them the effort of reskinning them but i doubt they set out to not retexture them does that hold true for super monkey ball deluxe?
I played through this section of story mode so many times in a row because I couldn’t beat it that I eventually became a master at it and then when it came up for regular main game mode on expert I was just like “Pshh.. I got this.” Favorite part of expert mode because of that. Also the freaking song was a bop. 👌🏻
I got stuck on this world...I believe it was mirrors and a couple of others I didn't get to complete before my step Mom sold it without Dad's consent... :( The memories, though!!!
I would give anything for a switch port of this game. I sold this game on my GameCube at my yard sale for measly pocket change, and I would do so much to undo that dumbass decision.
Hey, a game with the working title, Super Monkey Ball Retro is in the works. To me, this seems like a game with both new and old levels. So you might be getting your wish.
Good music can completely transform my opinion on a game. By all rights I should dislike Monkey Ball 2, but the music alone is so darn catchy I can't help but play through the frustration :)
