I just started playing it as my first Monkey Ball game, so I’m actually super happy to hear that so many of these levels are from the classic games I can’t play without a GameCube. I’m playing it with a 3DS too so I’ve got the stick. I’m liking it so far

Not being able to skip the credits would, weirdly enough, be a problem on the Wii as well. It's really frustrating.

you actually can skip the credits in banana blitz by pressing A + B, you just cant do it the first time you finish world 1

I think it would make more sense if the top speed would be on the edge of the monkey ball on the bottom screen.

If you want to use touch controls, use your right pinky to add a little more support to the system.

Fun fact: Super Monkey Ball Jr. (GBA, 2002) has a score of 82 on Metacritic, while Touch and Roll (DS, 2005) has a 63.

Recommend a cheap gamepad that would work well for the Super Monkey Ball (gamecube). I have an F310 and it is not well suited for precise control.

im 2 years late but dolphin has a virtual notches system where you can set the joysticks to lock to a cardinal direction at a certain range of degrees

You not being able to play good with a stylus is such a skill issue, once you get used to it, it's as good as a analog stick. I even used it on a phone and I can play good.

Possibly. But I’ve played Monkey Ball games with lots of different control methods and this was the only one I found too awkward to use. Probably because there’s no tactile feedback.

@@Kardino yknow what, no tactile feedback is fair, hell, playing arcade games don't feel good with a virtual joystick.
