Got the fighting game collection and I tried this game out after Vampire Savior and when I heard this track I fell in love with it just like that!! So awesome and great!!
Unlike most people, I found out about the Darkstalkers through this game and not through Marvel vs Capcom. I'll always think this is Morrigan's REAL theme, it's stuck with me the most lol
@@orlanzo2621 let's face it, we're old and niche apparently if we first learned of the Night Warriors crew from their original series. Heck I remember playing the first game when it dropped in the arcades in '94.
@@sabishiihito Same here man, the animations and the way the colors “popped” on screen blew me away as a kid when I first played it in ‘94. It was so much more expressive than SF2. And yea I feel old as dirt after the realization that most people have no idea what Darkstalkers even is. Lol.
@@orlanzo2621 Good, another person who actually played Darkstalkers in the arcades first. And I agree, the sprites stood out compared to SF2 at the time. The moves and the combos, even moreso. Sad the only thing DS we see these days are Morrigan, Felicia, and Lei Lei in crossovers.
+Suika Ibuki yeah the HD-remake. I cant find it on Steam and its only on PlayStation Now because its originally a PS3 game and dont want to pay monthly for something at the moment
Or Saturn version. Saturn is the indefinite best way to play the game in its original from without an emulator. And even with one, the Saturn emulator makes the game much better in the graphical department. Also, no dumb filter like the HD remake on the sprites. Which, for whatever reason, can not be turned off. Just makes them look really bad and takes away from the HD vibe.
Modidfy the spee and turn it up! One of the reasons I always too my sweet time defeating morrigan and I let her suffer was because I loved to listen to this theme when the speed was up. It sounds so much better and energized.
I got an arcade machine with a bunch of Capcom games (Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition etc.) and this game came with this. I love the OST! More people should play SPF2T
