Only Emily could do such a glam look at 5:30 in the morning! I’m still comatose at that hour😂 LOVE the Hourglass blushes and bronzers, definitely worth every penny!
Your happy cheeks were made for blush - I've never seen you apply a color that didn't look great! Regarding the pink pineapple - sounds like a franken-fruit to me.
Emily I know this is so late but I'd love to see you have a go at the fox eye! Usually your eye looks are rounded and smokey and I'm so curious to see what the winged out "snatched" vibe looks like on you!
Might be a reach but I’d love to see your mom choose/do your makeup or you do your makeup how she used to do hers. Maybe a throwback makeup GRWM (products may be different now of course ;)).
I haven't met an HourGlass powder product I haven't loved. Mood Exposure is probably my all time favorite blush. You made me laugh as you were applying your lip liner. Your look turned out beautifully, Emily. Blessings, prayers, and love..MaryEllen
Awww, this makes my day!! My son (2yo) went to his grandmothers house so I could clean. I ended up decorating for Fall and taking a nap, lol. I'm drinking coffee trying to come out of my slumber and this is perfect!!
The BEST concealer for under-eye and melasma for me has been the NARS soft matte concealer - I have mature skin and I was skeptical because I thought it would be too dry for my undereyes but it is MAGICAL!!
@Ang I use the ELF high definition under eye setting powder! It’s cheap and better than anything high end I’ve ever tried! I believe it’s a dupe for something specific but I forget what LOL
@Ang haven’t tried it BUT I like it much better than any other loose powder I have tried!! It’s very very fine and almost has sort of a blurring effect, I sometimes use it on the pores on/around my nose as well!
I watched A LOT of Rare Beauty reviews and yours was by far the very best! Your research and efforts to make the products work thier best was amazing. Thank you! I have love the Hard Candy Glamoflauge foundation for years. I've repurchased 5 times! Even though I have 30 other foundations!
I LOVE the telescopic throwback! The telescopic carbon black has been my go to probably since it was first released. I always get asked if I’m wearing falsies when I’m wearing it.
Loved this. Truffle oil mmmmm (said like Homer Simpson!) So jealous of your little brush washer and yes, that should be a career lol! Beautiful look. ♥ Elle
That hourglass palette might make it into my bag. So very much my color scheme. Loving that green with rose look, it's a very true to nature pairing. Be well and enjoy this lovely time of year. ♡
The random aisle at my Aldi had soooooo many pumpkin-themed things this past Sunday! I had to try the pumpkin pie flavor of Pop Tarts 😂I always have to buy something in that aisle, glad I'm not the only one!
It seems like more and more are. Tarte, Marc Jacobs, Fenty, farsali and a lot more have come out with minis of everything from foundation to powder to bronzers and mascaras. I love it.
Exactly - and take a suggestion from the Beer world - offer "flights" where you can sample a number of their offerings...they do it with lip glosses/sticks - but how about bronzers, foundations - I have a tough time finding just the right color and usually I end up using 2 different colors anyway...(very pale / pink toned skin that blushes on its own with neon intensity!).
I was driving on a country road here in Connecticut today & it’s days like this that I TRULY enjoy the Fall! The leaves were these vibrant shades of orange & yellow, this almost fluorescent peachy-type of shade, along with the rich rusty coppers & deep dark reds! This part of Autumn doesn’t last very long but it is GORGEOUS! Especially when the afternoon sun shines through the trees! I understand why people from all over travel to these northeastern states because it’s truly breathtaking! Especially if you’ve never seen New England in October! 🍃 🍁 🍂
I grew up in CT! I went back a couple of years ago and had my husband take the Merritt Parkway and he was stunned. Nothing beats New England fall colors.
Yes! Days without school are VERY appreciated in my house. I'm doing remote learning with my 8th grader and my 5 year old that just started kindergarten. I must say.... I haven't gotten this excited for a Friday in a very long time 🤣 weekends have a whole new meaning for me now!
I love the khaki haze. I use a light colored primer and the green color comes out real well. I love the grungy look it gives. My favorite mascara is the thrive lash extension one. Essence bye bye panda eyes is good too. A little more softer and not as lengthening but still good. Ur looking amazing as always!!!
Ughhh I just love you Emily! 🥰 You always explain things so well and you are such a beautiful beautiful woman. 😍❤️ I could listen to you talk for a long time! I’m not opposed to hour long videos 😂.
It really is captivating how optical illusion truly is a thing - usually your eyes look REALLY dark brown, sometimes verging on black, but whenever you do an olive look, your eyes appear more olive :) I know it's out of your usual content, but I would love to see you trying your closet and jewellery collection on :)
I would love your review of the Sydney Grace eyeshadows, singles and palettes. Love your videos to start my day, but anytime of the day is a good time for Emily ❤️
Love watching your videos, i feel like you take the time to explain everything with such love and patience, kinda lika a teacher would do. ❤ Out of all the Huda Haze Palettes I'm glad you grabbed that one, since that's the one that speaks to me the most.
That telescope mascara is my absolute fav. It works way better for my lashes than the thrive tubing ones. The thrive ones seemed to always start to flake off as the day wore on and was super hard to completely remove (even with really good cleansing balms). So that L’Oréal telescoping is a “drugstore for the win” thing for me. Thanks for another really great vid too. It’s still like 90 degrees here in Houston but Happy Fall! 👍🏻
I always find myself coming to your videos in rather trying times of my life, I suppose I really view you as like another sister, I was 12 when I started watching you lol (almost 23 now). But this month has been such a rollercoaster between my husband getting in a car accident and losing his job to finding out that we are 10 weeks pregnant with our second while our first is only 9 months old. I guess I come to you for consistency, you’re always happy and positive and it’s truly something I love the most about you. It really helps to have a ray of morning sunshine to brighten this weird weird year..
There’s another tubing mascara I think you’d like. It’s from Mirenesse. I love the purple one. Plus it doesn’t smudge on me at all during the day and it’s not labeled as waterproof but it’s the best mascara I’ve found. They also have a heated lash curler you might find interesting.
Today was the first day where it actually felt like fall here in the Seattle area. While it has been rainy, there hasn't been anything really "fall-like" with it. It was a sunny but blustery day. My car was littered with orange leaves, which was so exciting to see. :-D It makes me want to go on walks and skip around in the crunchy leaves like a little kid. The Huda Haze palette is something that has that fall vibe and I'm rethinking it now seeing the colors and feeling inspired by it! haha
Really enjoy your videos. You just seem like we could sit down for a cup of coffee and chat the day away...Haha. with kids running around. Yours and my granddaughter. Have an enjoyable day!
My fave mascara is IT Cosmetics Tightline- but when I am on my budget I use L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara and Maybelline Lash Discovery both in Waterproof.
What’s nice about the Fenty powder tho is when you actually use it as it’s title implies as a Blotting powder. It will 100% blot without picking up any foundation and not turn darker complexion ashy. It’s wonderful
I picked up the Huda Beauty in sand and purple haze. I also picked up the Hourglass mini palette this year and got the mini ghost blush palette from last year via Poshmark. Also picked up all three of the newest Sigma palettes (Untamed, Enchanted and Cor de Rosa).
Love my Emily RU-vid notifications 🙌🏻 you give my spirit a lift, so grateful for the fun and positive vibe of your channel, I hope you are having a blessed day!
When the Huda palettes came out this is the one I was drawn to, thanks for using it in the video. The L'Oreal Telescopic mascara looks really good on you, it never worked for me. For me L'Oreal mascaras are hit or miss mostly the one that works the best is Lash Paradise.
I have never stopped wearing the telescopic mascara since it first became popular few years ago. For a bit, I tried getting away from it but my lashes would not look as good as with the telescopic so I went back right away😂 💜
Hi Emily, as always your videos come at the perfect time!! I was going to say your skin looks extra FLAWLESS. Are you still using the same skincare products?
