I actually do that a ton with stuff at the flea market, especially with video games that I’m not sure are gonna work, peiple always are willing to give me money for the games and then I take that money and buy dvds

I had something really cool happen today at a Savers in Southern California. A guy was looking in my basket and I thought it was in his way, so I went to move it and he said "Sorry, I was just looking at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series DVD in your basket." He asked if he could look closer and I said sure. He looks and then says, I wrote these episodes. I also had a VHS of Turtles and he said that was before his time. Never know who you will meet at the thrift store!!!

Here's one thing Funko did right, those Fnaf plushies looked good.

Remember: tell the "buyer" the item is damaged, and that you would prefer not to ship a damaged item and ask the buyer to cancel the order when dealing with those potentially shady zero-feedback accounts. And always add something to the effect like 'if no response is received within 1 business day I will interpret this as an affirmative response to the cancel request.' Why? Because Ebay is known to destroy or otherwise grossly inhibit seller accounts for arbitrarily (to them) cancelling orders. "Buyer wants to cancel" is the best option to choose when cancelling orders.

We have a similar appraoch to ebay sales and picking up movies. I never read the blurb on movies, i just pick them up if they look cool/have a nice cast or directors. Reselling at the flea market was a cool experiment! I dont think ive seen anyone try that before. Banger video
