remix 9 ds with all ds games! (including some endless games but not all) (sorry samurai and tunnel fans)
i love remix 9 ds a lot if you couldn't tell
also i’m retconning this to be my 100 subscriber special now seeing as how i’m now past 150
so um this was fun i guess? i definitely prefer making custom video-edited visuals to actual custom textures (though there's no way i could justify editing visuals instead of texture editing for fever and megamix games)
sorry this is out so late in the week btw! had a very unexpectedly busy week, but with next week's video being hopefully very easy to make, a very cool remix should be coming out in 2 weeks!
also lol, my channel like popped off in the last week??? i got like 12 unrelated comments in 1 (non-upload) day and 6 subs in 1 day which is the most i've ever gotten???? so tysm for all that :)

The swiping/pausing transitions between minigames were smooth as hell, I could literally play it realtime without being taken off guard ! Great remix !

I dont think I’ve ever seen octopus machine or glass tappers in a custom remix! This is so creative. Btw, the visuals on freeze frame and love lab looked really good and official!

This was amazing, I loved the different textures. My favorite parts of the remix was the transition to BRF to Coin Toss, and how you used Love Lizards. And the male lizard's sound effect with it just made it sound more better.

meh, i had to find games that worked well in the 6 different shoot-‘em-up spots (which BtS did well enough), and once i had the BRF into coin toss idea i just loved it too much to not keep it in lol. also thanks!

LOL in order that would be: octopus machine (a rhythm toy) coin toss (an endless game) glass tappers (another endless game) none of them are part of the main game so it’s understandable you don’t recognize them lol

I really love this ! Its really well put together, Remix 9 ds is one of my favorites :) the only issue that i dont like about this custom remix is that built to scale sounds very off, but everything else is great ^_^

This is fantastic, but i think that you could have possibly made the big rock finish have the 4th note and have it be a whole step lower, but idk how hard that would be. Great work though, still revisting this!

@@VillagerMax honestly I'd happily take that! I have never used any version of RHRE but I can definitely work it out, especially when it's for this beautiful love letter to Remix 9 DS and RHDS as a whole - I wish Megamix had had hold and flick mechanics as an option alongside buttons and simple tap. There's just something about the DS controls that are so much extra fun... but then again I grew up with the DS, playing a lot of Cooking Mama, Drawn To Life and Pokémon Ranger so I miiiight be a bit biased towards loving touchscreen controls. tl;dr yes please and thanks again for such a cool custom remix!

How do you make such good touchscreen visuals

it was usually just a side effect of the green screen effects/filters i used for the main screen, if the touch screen was a close enough color then it would get green screened (or, chroma keyed, it wasn’t always green but yknow) out and change color too
