My guilty pleasure, i dont think her voice is that bad, she sings without autotune and i heard she was crying before singing. Maybe she can improve till finals :)
FIrst off, using autotune is a big turnoff, no matter what and who is singing! Second of all, its outdated and does NOT represent good Norwegian music at all! She is a good performer, and "sings" good enough, its just so in the past. I do not concure this act as Norways contender. my personal 2cents.
Really smart decision to make the Robot a huge part of performance! Erika is definitely very nervous so it drags attention from her. If she could add a little bit more of her natural charisma (which she obviously possesses) + a little sharper camera work, this might have great chances to be on Eurovision stage. I'm loving it!
I don’t know if she is nervous! Personally I have a take that she is just going straight out purposefully doing a nervous sounding voice because the entire plot of the song is that she’s nervous but when Rob’s around she feels more comfortable and Robs a Super Hero because he takes care of Erica and thinks of Her 24/7. That’s why at the start they are not together and at the end they are, because their connection is super human, that’s also why throughout the song she lists (and rob) personality traits that are amazing. Rob is made to comfort Erica and visa versa so Rob’s qualities are pretty much happy and positive, what Rob does is also very much related to nice things. Erica probably wrote this song to relate to a wide audience but it also has a very positive message.. The message about friendship and love (even caring for someone when they are not okay mentally)is always good in Eurovision. Every song has a message and I feel that this song has a very strong message. Love your thread

Subwoolfer was the best and the most clever song that Norway has sent. This is great too but it needs a little change on something idk. Don't forget that Gaute Ormassen is voicing Super Rob , that's why it is so good ;)

Erika Norwich does look like the main singer from Aqua. Thought the same thing a few days ago.. thought Keiino’s song had a Aqua vibe but also with a club aspect to it!

She was really good! But the reason she sang kind of squeaky was because she saw people in the crowd holding up signs for her, she got so happy that she started crying right before she was going to sing. She posted it on snapchat

This is crazy. It will be a meme for years if it goes all the way to Malmø. We need it 100% in the finals. Eurovision is supposed to be a freakshow and circus, not a real song contest.

I have commented this on another thread but I think it suits the vibe of what’s she’s creatively doing.. she’s obviously going for a younger look so weirdly singing on stage isn’t a bad thing! I think people are disappointed by it but I think it may come as a strength due to what she’s doing. I may be wrong but it’s how I view it..
