Nice job Mr.Charles! You know Godsigma is just about my favorite super robot character. This is one of the few toys of the character I haven't picked up yet, and have to fix that. I guess my enthusiasm got dampened by all the talk of light use of diecast, but seems worth it for all the cool joint features they stuffed into the frame of this little toy, seen in your review here. If you ever want to do a vid with direct comparisons of these modern toys to the vintage DX, ST, PuraDera, etc, that's doable.-Jon
This makes me wish Bandai would continue making different things in the SRC line. We have gotten an overwhelming amount of Mazinger lately, and while I'm not particularly upset about that, I really wish they would produce stuff from more properties. There are so many versions of Getter like Neo Getter, Getter 2, Getter 3, Getter Dragon that they haven't touched in a while. Not to mention even expanding the roster of current Mazinger Z characters to include Boss Borot and Aphrodai A. There is just so much untapped stuff in this line and I'm afraid it's slowly fading away. I really hope we can get more stuff soon, big fan of the SRC line and have almost every figure released in it.
Awesome review!!! I love the look of God Sigma and I'm definitely going to pick this up. The parallels to Voltron are spot on. I haven't yet watched the SOC review for this guy yet and he now commands a pretty stiff price. I love the look but in your opinion would you say he is worth it. As always thanks for the great review.
If you like what you see then yeah, recommended, but if youre expecting lots of metal, then no. Theres metal on shoulder joints and parts of the legs. Thats it
This might sound odd,but i dont really have the funds for these SoC figures, but i really like the designs of these mechas, and wanted to know what would be a good starting Chogokin. I mostly build Gunpla,so i know next to nothing about SOC.
Hi! Loyal subscriber here... I think there aren't subtitles for your lovely assistant reading the kanji on the box... not sure if I'm missing something...
I think it's because World Events Pictures, creators of the Voltron adaptations of Golion and Dairugger XV own the full rights to both shows due to Toei giving them the licenses to both shows due to how more successful the two shows were there than in Japan but that's just my speculation
Because WEP/Toynami would not allow it. Normally if you have a license to do lets say 6" plastic figures another company can acquire a license to do a 12" metal one for example and vice versa. But Toynami will not allow shared licensing as far as I know. Would be nice if WEP would allow Bandai to make a small non combining Golion since toynami is concentrating on the bigger diecast and jumbos
Balthazar Its ok, youre entitled to have your opinion and I take into consideration feedback from my viewers when making videos. After all, I want you guys to enjoy it. I watch other peoples videos and I understand what its like to find something annoying lol. Good news is I forgot to do it in my new video of the MP-20 Wheeljack!
