It's sad that Shinkalion weren't any more popular outside of Japan. The mecha designs were top notch and the toys (despite targeting at younger audiences) were still very well thought and fun to play with. Also it managed to get cameos from Hatsune Miku, Evangeleon & Godzilla...that's one hell of a franchise if u ask me.
Probably cause trains are not popular in terms of coolness for people in the West. Even though it's a major market that is raising back thank goodness. Love trains as a fan. West used to dominate of public transportation trains and probably still freight I mean look at the size of the US freight. Just less cool. Still the fact that they're starting to reinvested back is a good thing.
@@djslw0114 A cameo is basically just her being there as a joke or a fun little easter egg. Miku there has a backstory, is a supporting character within the cast and has a fair part to play in the story.
I really hope it gets a full series addition to Super Robot Wars. perhaps with one of the Evangelion series in order to allow Shinji to have the Shinkalion 500 TYPE EVA in place of EVA-01 or EVA-13 (assuming Rebuild)
@@Solo3511 soon for the next sequel shinkalion might gaine will join again but this time with den-o and toqger to join for future battle and featuring with sequel shinkalion z
Feels like the same person who did Hyaku Shiki. Likes to do a lot of close-up shots that would look like it would transition into a cut-in, but instead just zooms in to the sprite. Hyaku Shiki was similarly well-choreographed but extremely choppy. It's like this animation team did all the keyframes and forgot about the in-betweens
@@RanRii that's how god gundam looked like as well honestly the spriting and effect is more similar to that than hyaku shiki, which is more like armageddon getters
