god I love how dynamic the Getter Change Attack is in this iteration, the flash of lightning when Getter G and Shin Getter pose together is cool as fuck and the usage of Stoner Sunshine to make Getter G a super Shine Spark nuke is ingenious, I wish they could've done something like this for SRW30 with both the Shin Getter Dragons, standards have really slipped recently
To be fair, the Double Shinespark was on normal Shin + Beeg Shin Dragon in V, Daikessan Shin Dragon only showed up in T prior to 30, and had never done anything with the beeg boat before, Getter in general is kind of a sideline addition for 30, which isn't unusual but it contributes to the lower resource investment

Maybe one day we'll see the original Getter team come back to SRW or at the very least the manga version of Shin Getter like here. As much as I love Armageddon the fact that it cannot Open Get! to avoid attacks and its missing the Shin Shine Spark rate the Armageddon Shin Getter lower on my tier list. Manga Shin Getter as we see in A Portable and even in Alpha 3 is still better!
@@GinraiPrime666 The removal of Open Get special evasion isn't really a hit against Armageddon, but moreso just a balance decision, because holy shit Open Get is... uhh, fuckin stupid, Getter is not supposed to be that survivable, especially when its stacked with Getter 2's own special evade Shin Shine Spark meanwhile now belongs to either a team attack with Shin Getter Dragon, or to the Daikessen version of Shin Dragon that showed up in T and is a disgusting monster of a mech, sure it can't change forms BUT IT DOESN'T NEED TO, Daikessen Shin Dragon is the epitome of Getter power, complete adaptability in all situations, bundled in a horrifyingly demonic body
That's not what I meant. During that Open Get, it uses Getter G machine Sprites instead of Shin Getter's. Also, the Getter Machine is the planes that combines into various forms of Getter Robo.
I see where the problem is now. On the Stoner Sunshine Spark, it IS the Shin Get Machines. BUT, in the NORMAL Stoner Sunshine, it's the G machines for some reason. I don't know how that oversight made it through.
No, it isn't. The Shin Get Machines have varied (just like Shin Getter Robo has, it's had three different appearances thus far), but if you pause it during the Stoner Sunshine, it very clearly splits into three getmachines at the end, and two of those are G Jaguar and G Bear. The distinctive "Poseidon Head" shape on Bear and jetpacks on Jaguar seal it.
when i was younger i seen an anime that had the Getter Beam in it, One of the women's name was Kay. the enemy was called the invaders. is this the right one? is it an anime at all? im not sure. but all i remember is that special moves was Getter Beam. Please help. I miss my childhood :'(
More units usually means that its stronger. FDS is supposed to be the best attack of the game its in, or at least one of the best. Super robots aren't about logic. Though i never played this one.
Yeah, but Stoner Sunshine Spark is stronger. Coming from Shin Getter, Final Dynamic Special is 10300 while Stoner Sunshine Spark is 10600 (that's maxed, mind, but at minimum it still wins by 300 because the upgrade rates are the same) Now, if we were to compare Great Mazinger's version of the FDS to Stoner Sunshine Spark, it would be stronger, because Great upgrades at a better rate than the other three - but then, it's also stronger than Shin Getter's FDS. On Shin Getter's screen it will always show as 10300 to 10600 and will be lower in terms of power.

Getter Dragon doesn't get destroy in this game or anything so you can have most characters from Getter series pilot it. Including Musashi if he survived. But Ryoma, Hayato & Benkai are move & locked to Shin Getter from what I remembered.
+Midori Natsume More like hybrid continuity in the Alpha series, using some of the manga's story with the original show's characters, which is probably how the G-era pilots were able to use the Shin Getter, which we've only seen in Armageddon and the one with Neo Getter Robo.
Yes, unfortunately most of them suck... except Heavy Arms for some reason, someone really liked Heavy Arms so it upgrades for cheaper and more stats then the rest of the Endless Waltz cast
And even then it's just the mech itself as in the manga the only one of the three who actually was a pilot for it was Ryoma in Shin 1 with Go Ichimonji and a character named Messiah piloting Shin 3 and 2 respectively.
