Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 - Final Mission 

Jesus, I must have watched and liked this video way back when it was first uploaded, so you can imagine my surprise when, in 2020, I read a Forbes article about the series, saw this video linked at the end, and then discovered that the author spreading the good word about SRW was the same person who made this legendary video, ages ago! Pretty cool.

One of the first RU-vid videos I've seen and still is damn cool after all these years..

Yesterday a mainline SRW game was confirmed for official Western release.

That mech is from a game called Virtual On. The game was pretty fun.

This game has ideon in it. That makes it worth learning japanese to play. I wish it had 08th ms team (gundam). I think all srw games should have cybaster, valcione, granveil and granzon also...

@zBLITZEN Some of them like Bullet, Kusuha, Zengar, Ryuusei etc(Not all of the OGs cast is in here, though).Also, i dont think there any grungusts outside of Alpha 1 and Alpha Gaiden.

does the final boss only have one attack? i've never seen him use anything else.

Because he wasn't riding trombe and also lacked a trombe override.... I hope this helps a little.

If anyone know where I can find an english patch/version I'd be grateful, I'm really interested into playing this game but it would be kinda weird to play without understanding anything :S

How does it look like unicron? Unicron was a planet that could transform into a robot bigger than a universe and not to mention was orange. Keisar Ephes is not even close.

all of the Gundams that appear in the SRW series are the real ones, or their kit variants (Hi-Nu Gundam etc). In fact Bright Noa, the captain from the originals,Zeta, ZZ and Char's Counter attack is the overall leader of the good guys in most SRW games...

His name is Kaiser Ephres (Emperor Zero) and is considered to be the Supreme God of the Balmarian Empire

That is one pussy final boss. It takes me years to beat the GBA OG2 bosses, yet ultimate attacks in this game ACTUALLY DO DAMAGE. This is an alien concept to me.

Let's just say that there's alot of death and planets exploding. I usually wake up after with only 10 damage. ...I don't get out much anymore.

Question for all you mod-savvy people: Would I need a mod chip for my PS3 to play this game? I know I would for sure need one for the PS2, but I don't know how the PS3's region locks work.

The "End of the Universe" attack was just plain DISTURBING.

the one thing i did was max out the stats of freedom justice mazinkaiser getter robo shin getter eva 00,02,01 buster genesic gaogaigar and the virtual on robots with atk hp mobility armor and en it kinda helps cus u can breeze through bosses more without have to use some of the skills plus it keep u pretty free from fire

Well only this rpg can truly hold the word pwnage at that scene. it was overkill also the guy barely had any hp left and then he comes with 600,000 dmg thats just damn...

.....the first attack, open a gate to another realm, summon suffering souls, distroy a lot of planets, boom here, boom there, a phsycologic damage with bizarre images, the earth was CUT AT HALF!!!........ and 10 points of damage??.........shit!

If anyone have some problem with EX Hard here some tips Ideon you can use god version after event Ideon Sword then solo whole map with map Ideon Gun after Ideon Gun event Put anyone you want same team with Ideon (don't forget skill for 100% exp) Ideon's team will be have most pp on next game and clear EX Hard without any damage problem

well the last attack ho kills daizengar its mazinkaiser with the kaisernova the other attack of the srw org units its just a video that attack it would be great that we can use this atack in the game but its just an animation played for computer

Unlike Kira Yamato Sanger is a MAN and he knows that stealing shows from others is bad, so he didn't onwed Keisar Ephes to let Dai Rai Oh finish him.

If this game was out in English, I would probably play this game day AND night. Sadly (for now) it's still Japan only. TnT

this game would've been great if it didn't have so many critical glitches, such as unlimited EN and unlimited movement w/ songs...

I wouldnt know I have no way of getting this game T_T well due to the fact I dont know how to get it.
