Super Robot Wars V OST - Matte Black Bullet 

I listen to lot of OG songs over and over again, but this one is definitely one of the top. You never hear progression of different instruments (This being SRW, of course it's all done by a keyboard probably but still) eventually joining up together to make the explosive final part in an OG music. I'd love to listen to a whole orchestra playing this. .

"Soji serious mode theme" I loved the develop of him and how his relationship with Nine become closer even when both never seemed to get along or agreed with something

damn welp I think I found my new fave OG theme for the longest time it was Guardian Angel...now its Matte Black Bullet

I generally like Soji more than Chitose. His story feels more inspiring because he goes through great loss twice in his life (lost his family during the Earth bombings just like Chitose, and then later lost his entire squad during Operation M) yet he perseveres through life nonetheless. That's the kind of attitude I'd want to see in someone going on an adventure like the one the Yamato crew is on. Also, considering how Soji is an established veteran pilot and how the VangRay is clearly designed with him in mind (a black colored mech specializing in speedy range combat piloted by a guy noted to live on the fast lane and whose 2nd theme is called Matte Black Bullet. Come on Banpresto you're not even being subtle) it generally makes more sense for him to be the protagonist. The rivalry with Ghuli feels way more natural because of the whole speed thing too. Not to diss on Chitose of course. She's a wonderful character in her own right as she generally grows more as a person than Soji does (as he's already pretty assured about who he is and what he wants to do). She just has a questionable fashion sense lol.

I know a lot of people gave Soji VangNex but I gave him GranVang, and it's awesome. Like Granvang is still using projectile-based weaponry just with a more super robot flair. Both robots are awesome though.

IMO, Soji > Chitose in both character and themes. The trumpets especially give off that 'I WILL SURVIVE' feel.

Omg that theme is so awesome. I get hyped everytime its Soji's turn. They should seriously put that in a movie.

After many years I finally beat the game. Always had demo on for Souji. Top notch theme.

And he's more badass in the stage you earn the upgrade. Do re ember he was shot by a sniper BEFORE jumping into his mech

これ聴くまではアラゼオの後継機曲(OGだとツインバードストライク使用時)が一番だったが一気に一番まで駆け上がったんだよなぁ

I'm going to be lynched for a terrible pun, but it's only right for a guy like Souji to get an unit that could be spelled as "Grand Wang". With his character design, he could probably compete with Sänger and Rätsel for the title of "real man". XD I just realized I want Souji to be the fourth DGG pilot in OG.
